i know im replying to a 6 year old comment but i agree. I was younger back then and didnt notice it as much as i did just now lol its terrible i wanted to hear the engine revving down as he was breaking into corners and such rip but the visual was just odd too with the sound

Love the original Murcielago, such a simple and timeless design, in my opinion much better looking than the later more aggressive versions
This is arguably the best version murcielago... What were they thinking with the updated front...
And the wheels, and the taillights
Absolutely true. The taillights , classic type 5-spoke wheels , dual exhaust and perfectly fine front bumper. The second and third gen gets it away from the Lamborghini soul.
yes i thought the same thing growing up and seeing this car evolve. I wasn't a big fan of the updated tail lights and the front bumper but the rear design, sound, and spoiler of the SV is insane. The revonton really dropped my jaw though.. those tail lights were something else but I totally agree with the first generation murci being the most beautiful.

that’s really unexpected from a rather heavy car with no special aerodynamic elements (at that weight they don’t even work so well) it looks like daily driver of course an aggressive design but no lage wing or spoiler or Venturi tunnels

I never knew a Murcielago can be so fast! These things are rapidly becoming cheap. Buy one before they begin to increase in value! It's a great investment (and a lot of fun :)

Old? It's timeless, modern classic. Aventador looks like some cheap Hot-Wheels toy car compared to Murciélago. Same goes for every other carmakers and designers. 2010s? Thanks but no, leave me in 2000s.

That Zonda on the board isn't the Zonda R. The Zonda R did it in 1:08.
Henry Nguyen Oh okay cause it didn't make any sense. The Murcie is just about as fast as the initial C6 (2006) Zo6s (not talking about the later Zo6s, the later ones with the new suspensions were on a different level).

It was the 1st gen Zonda, not the Zonda R. Someone elsewhere in the comments said the Zonda R did 1:13 but the time didn't stay up because the R isn't street legal.

See people! Best Motoring did a shitty test of this first release Murcielago intentionally letting a 2008 GTR defeat it in Twin Ring Motegi. Yeah right this is a heavy car but it was hailed as the FIRST EASIEST LAMBORGHINI TO DRIVE and its lap time on Top Gear Test Circuit is proof.
the first gen murcielago might be eaten by GT-R due to its front lsd and long gear ratio...but the one in twin ring battle is actually a lp-640，which is the evolution of 6.2 murcielago,,,then you are right，the 640 with proper tyre will eat 480ps gtr for lunch.

The Murcielago is better and faster than the GTR in every way what more if you compare the GTR Nismo against the Murcielago SV.
