I saw them in like 86, Hollywood Palladium, my grandparents danced there during WW2. The venue is still around, he came out 1 2 3 4 and they tore into like 6 songs before he said anything. I miss them.

This is the best Ramones live concert I've seen on film! The songs r very true to the tempo of the originals. Can anyone recommend some other live shows where they stay true the the originals? Thanks

Listening to 'em live, I see what a mistake it was to record with Phil Spector. Granted, they went out on a limb and took a risk, which is commendable but unfortunately didn't get them what they wanted (a hit song). "Rock N' Roll Radio" sounds incredible here, and "Commando" has the edge it's missing on the album. At least they got some great stories out of the sessions.
Most of the band argued that it wasn't them at all. Think it was only Joey's voice when all was said and done because everyone else bailed out during various stages of the process.
