Two of the hardest working content creators on TH-cam at it again! 🙂 Thanks for posting this video as we can always learn from you 👍 as always, much respect ✊
Yes I like the retaining wall. I did a similar one at the end of my garden with a curve but that was only one block high so was easy. This was 10x harder haha. Thanks
Not enough words to describe how impressed and how mesmerized I became while watching how industrious you were. What a grandiose effort you put in to make your yard more appealing and usable. KUDOS to you Kim!
It looks amazing, Kim! You (with a little help from Lord Muck, of course) did an excellent job! I hope you get many years of enjoyment from it! Thanks for sharing 😎👍
The end result looks really wonderful and what an enormous amount of work to get there! Protect your knees. Now in my 60s I suffer daily for the damage I did to my knees in my twenties and thirties
@@CalamityKim1 I'm glad you were using one. Your knees will thank you later. You look great on the digger that's a fairly small area you were working in, im sure i would have taken out a corner of a shed or broken a window at least!
Kim there is only one way to express my admiration for your on this project. I wish I was as adept as you certainly are, to be able to do what you do is simply Fantastic., Looks (not being sexist here), like the sort of finish, you would expect of a professional landscape gardener! Once again KIM FANTASTIC WORK. Hope you're proud of the finish, You should be!!!!!
That turned out quite nice. It looks great and is very useful. It is a very tedious project and tiring. I did the patio on the back of my home and it took a summer to do. Invest in a pair of good knee pads for projects like that as they make a big difference when you are on the ground like that. Very nice job! I liked the truck you had there to haul all the dirt and stuff.
Great effort Kim 👍 nice to see you keeping the labourer busy 🙄😁 good job on that Kubota I always hated the mini's I just didn't have the finer touch on the levers and my boots couldn't work the tracking pedals 😢 finished article just brilliant 👌
It all turned out so well and was lovely to watch, thank you. The little wall is a perfect break from the otherwise linear edges. Would never have thought of that. Excellent work, Kim. Take care.
Thank you. I did a similar design at the other end of my garden but I did a 90deg gradual radius. It came out really well so thought I’d try again. The difference this time was the fact it was two courses. It made it extremely hard to do.
I drive mixers in Iowa, USA... I gotta say, I'm glad you didn't bring a truck in for that amount of concrete. The amount of jobs I've hauled to that were smaller than that REALLY annoyed me. GREAT work!
That was great way to unload the bags off the transit and nice to have a long video from you always enjoy your videos your a inspiration to alot of people
Crackin job well done. Nice to see it being done to last a long time 👍 Also great use of recent plant and machinery you & Lord Muck have acquired- spot on 😀
since i'm over 60 now, i paid 10k to get my driveway done last year... this year, i spent 2 wks holiday getting it right/finished... my knees were aching just watching you...
I can remember doing that stuff in my early years , still pains me to the day as for18 years building houses then stone mason for ten , got out of the trade and now work for DGM Devon , building my favourite. Ventrac machines , a journey in in one’s life , stone to tractors , As sell them too , great vid Kim , good to se Kurt , great guy xx👍
Nice finish, I landscaped my rear garden 12 years ago. Put in paths, retaining walls and completely re leveled it, only one problem no access so everything was done and shifted by hand. Like you I also hate grouting paving stones. 🤬👍
nice variation and visual appeal I'd probably concrete the whole thing with 6+ inches pressure rated, rebar reinforced so could roll machines, rollerblade, no maintenance, etc.
Nice job on the concrete & patio work. It is a tough job on the knees, been there, done that, & at my age never to do again. Now you can join us, that have them done & sit with a cuppa & enjoy your hard work.
Great job kim i know hard slabs can be to lay properly as i had to lay 1000 slabs all on my own a couple of months back they where 3 by 2 slabs my back was knckerd after it but it was worth it for the end finish
That turned out awesome! I hate grouting too, last time I did it I got lazy and swept it in dry with a broom, then misted it with the garden hose. It actually came out better and I didn't have a stiff back for a week after. Lessons learned 😂
Great job well done. U could see at the end of laying the slabs u were starting to loose it. I hate laying slabs. But that is all hard work and good on you for doing it
looks great, very nice job. having all the right tools sure makes things a lot easier and saves a lot of wear on the ol bones and joints, just wish mini diggers werent so ludicrously expensive.
Mighty job Kimberly, Kurt and Puppo, turned out really nice, fair play to Ye, very well done 💯👌👍🙏🙂

Not sure about hardest working part haha, I do my bit lol. Thanks
@@CalamityKim1 you are too modest as usual 🙂
That little digger is fantastic. I was glad to see Mi'lud get his hands out of his pockets.
It’s tedious back breaking work, but worth it in the end. The results are beautiful, you do good work!
Turned out great, I think my favorite part is the little stone retaining wall.
Yes I like the retaining wall. I did a similar one at the end of my garden with a curve but that was only one block high so was easy. This was 10x harder haha. Thanks

Thanks a lot Jeff. Thats very kind of you.
Not quite Diesel Creek scale but cracking watch for a lazy Sunday morning. Love the safety flip flops too 😂

I lost my kneeling Matt towards the end of the project, I had to buy a new one but I don’t think any of the clips you could see it.

Nice to see some ground work 😊 always a charm to do DIY and look back feeling proud. Great inspiration Kim and explaining 👌🏼 CK Paving 😝
There is something quite relaxing about watching other people lay concrete :D
I’m glad it’s relaxing for you guys to watch. I hate it haha. 🤣
@@CalamityKim1 definitely better to watch than do, nice to see the old lad doing a bit :D

Wow Kim it looks fantastic...so nice
Skills! Neat job, wouldn't be a proper vid without KC effortlessly pulling apart and fixing at least one piece of machinery.
and that answers my thoughts on whether the u17 can move a bag of agg. Great wee machine
Quite good job ,looking good your garden !!
Brilliant job Kim,
With the right equipment you and Mucker made that look easy. Brilliant video and a great result Kim !

Good to see Mr. Muck on the hose pipe 🙈

Just the greatest!
