He is glorious. He's the centerpiece of my collection. I'm waiting for the shiny Toyhax stickers in the mail right now.
I have the Aliexpress KO of him. It's pretty good and comes with a 6th member. Unfortunately the leg bots lack the ability to put their arms on their backs so it always stands a little bow-legged

Damn that's nice. I've just recently got into the whole 3rd party Transformers scene. Wish I would have known about Feral Rex awhile back. Now I got to figure out a way to buy all the figures at once.

Alright hes complete! The leg kibble can be tucked away a little better. Check ur instrustions :)) the little black piece on the feet u folded up..fold it down it helps a ton on keeping him upright. I totally feel you on the nostalgia thing! You explained it perfectly! Thanks for all the videos this week! We where all pumped up!

"My wife is going to kill me..properly kill me..." true story!! Bobby I haven't combined this thing yet and its because seeing them in their beast modes together is just awesome! To your point it is a nostalgic high. There is a lot of emotion in this review, that impatient anticipation and joy that is missing in adult life..atleast for me. Thank you for sharing that brother..I love Giant, but I couldn't in my wildest dreams expect a masterpiece (I said it) like this!! Holy freaking cow!!
True indeed. And yeah most people don't realize how much time goes into these videos. I do three a week minimum. Every 10 minutes of film takes me about an hour and a half worth of work. Most videos are about 15 to 20 minutes, add that up and it starts taking up a significant amount of time. And... Well... I'm smart enough to realize when I'm pushing it lol. But I'm back in action now ;)

This is amazing. I have the original g1 set, but if I ever get the chance to pick this up I absolutely will. Predaking is by far the best of the combiners. Awesome review!

Just built mine. I see your point with the sword. Too big. It's big enough to keep SKYLYNX at bay. But this figure is the bomb. Took me a year. But damn. I like it. Someone needs to make a SKYLYNX to match this guy. Mastermind or Fanstoys. It needs to be big enough that Mp10 can ride on its back too. Loved that skit by the way. It was hilarious.

Still on my shelf. If and when zeta makes theirs. These will go on robot mode. G1 in beast mode. That Predaking if you pop out that Rhino and bull legs put them somewhere in the back. Looks even better. No A stance.

Looks rather excellent I have to say, very beastly in its mass. Hopefully its a simple matter of throwing in a washer or something to strengthen the shoulder ratchet. Can't go wrong for 2 bucks or less. How are the legs in relevance to Hercs as far as the "wobble factor" ??

My legs are pretty solid. The leg bots are bricks so if too much weight is put on one and that one isn't redistributing the weight straight down he will slide a bit. But I haven't experienced any uranos splits or anything. Gotta get t2rx6 over here to tighten that shoulder up a little bit lol
hey Bobby.did you ever get around to getting the sixth member of the team (feilsaber) to replace talon as an arm and plug the complete talon figure into his back (and not just the wings).also what's your opinion on the "Nero rex" black and purple repaint?☺

Theres a minor help for ya in the case of tipple over and thats the small black peg under each foot. When in combined mode pull that one so it points down and it will help some with the balance issue
Yea a few people have mentioned that. I guess I'll have to give it a try lol. It all just fits together so nicely I almost hate to do it lol

Dont worry, it loves to stay intact so its almost like having a big toy that its a bonus that each limb is a robot too. Had him laid on its back on my knee to do some sticker adding and it stayed as one piece without any trouble, so i doubt you need to worry
Oh absolutely!!! I just meant how that little black tab attaches to the leg bots. It all works so perfectly I hate to undo it.
You dont have to. Its a small peg hidden under each foot. And that pegs only function is for stability so it doesnt attach to anything

I had the original g1 with the die cast..got him for xmas,was my favorite toy for all of 6 hrs...until my cousin knocked predaking over and razor claws waste swivle broke😢😢 i was heart broken.....mom tried to take back and couldnt find a replacement anywhere...never got 1

You kinda mistransformed the front legs for Bovis and Fortis though. I do believe that you missed the pegging of his buttflap to leo's ass and you really shouldn't be using Leo's male combiner port as a shoulder joint, its not meant to serve as one. Just lift the arms up utilizing the female port and it should (probably) have no issues holding the sword.
Great job on the video again though I wish it has better resolution!
Thanks dude. You're absolutely right about fortis and bovis. I figured that out as soon as I went to put him on the shelf I said "I had to mess that up. This should be a little more streamlined." The butt flap to connected. I'll have to look into the male female connection you're speaking of
Bobby Skullface L No problem! I think someone else has that "issue" with the shoulder joints. I believe that you guys might be mistaken that Rex in combined form has a double jointed shoulder while in reality its only a single joint for articulation. The ratchet on the male combiner port is merely a joint for transformation purposes. Just thought that you might wanna know that so you can enjoy your figure more instead of being bugged thinking that its a native flaw in the figure. I have not really tried to hold the sword with the arms lifted up sideways though so I still might be wrong after all lol.
i forgot to ask mate, if your getting the extra figure for Feral Rex?
I'm still undecided. If they threw in a pretender shell id be all over it lol.
umm. i dont know if anyone has told you but bovis and forbis beast arms goes on a peg at the back of the figure.

I just got talon today but I have one problem with it the claw on mine is slightly bent with stretch marks and I don't know how to fix it I already got leo dux, bovis and fortis and I don't have a single problem with any of them other than that the hands are sort of annoying but its just the weapons don't fit well I still really like them and I ordered talon from bbts so can you please tell me how to fix the claw if I can.
+Narwhal Transformers it also makes the transformation a little annoying because I have to put some pressure on the claw to get it by the other one.
I watched your video cause I needed to kill time during my hour long jog. I always look for long toy reviews to make my jog time a little more enjoyable. The problem with your video/tutorial is that there are multiple errors in your transformations. First with Bovis and Fortis, the paws on the front legs tab into to top part of the back side. They don't just fold up onto the the blocks that hides the robot arms. Look at the manual and see how it's really done. With Tigris, the shoulder and the entire arm assembly, there is a tab on both side of his torso and you are to tab it in locking it up. Tigris has this weird sliding mechanism for his shoulder and when done correctly, everything locks in tightly. You had the knee pad right at first. They are to be tabbed in by the robot modes feet. For whatever reason, you untabbed and folded it onto the front forearm. This cause clearance problems for the wrist and you lose wrist swivel. The way you had it in the final part of your review, the right forearm is backwards. I guess you could plug the cannon on the right arm this way so the the arm cannon is on the top forearm and not on the underside of the arm. And finally your assembly of the arm cannon, it all happen off screen. How are your viewer suppose to use your video as a tutorial when they can't see what you were doing? Part of the joy of seeing a combiner is to see it combine. As with most kids, we enjoy watching the combining sequence in the cartoon. Don't care how easy it is done, your viewers want to see it. Not showing it was a big disappointment.

I Think that i will go for TFC.MMC looks like he is on steroids fat. and the lion face is to big for the chest. the head of Feral Rex is lost behind the lion head and it makes it small the head of Feral Rex and his legs looks like poppey forarms and where are his shoulders?
See... This is why it's good when third party impairs make the same characters. One, in theory it should keep the prices in check. And 2 it gives us the fans options. I like tfc. But for me the feet and shoulder weapons look a bit odd and the head sculpts on the bots look more beast warsish.
Tfc has a ton of problems. The feet are just on a basic post. The whole gestault is very floppy. And so are the single robots. Mmc is far better quality

I do like the tfc beast modes though.
Always comes down to, preference with aesthetics.Once you have MMC Feral Rex in hand you will amazed with the qualirt and he looks even better in person.I wasn't too big on him when I saw the first couple of reviews.But once I received my first figure Bovis) I was sold.
