As much as I love PC98 Touhou, Sonic 3 and Knuckles for me which was composed just on the YM2612 and SN76489 while the PC98 Touhou games were done on the YM2608 alone. That OST is just wonderfully crafted. Flying Battery, Hydrocity, Death Egg, Doomsday, Knuckles Theme, Sky Sanctuary, Angel Island, Marble Garden, Launch Base, Mushroom Hill, Invincibility, Lava Reef... Can't really go wrong with the Sonic 3 & Knuckles OST... I Love Touhou's Music but I have a greater love for Sonic's Music.
the reason why am i pulling out few AY-3-8910s and YM3812 ( some PCM chips for drumming ) to make this music go rocking again ( yeah, im using PCI interface for this FM synth ) Edit : yk it was SAAYM glued together with AdLib
Touhou 1~5 were fearing me, cause graphics, cause you've to install an emulator, but, I finnally managed to download them, and, wow, it's so cool !! the musics from touhou 4 are just awesome ! I love touhou 1 gameplay it's so fun and the graphics of touhou 4/5 are so cool with that retro style(well it was the classic style at this time I guess xD) I love that song :3
I do prefer a couple of the Windows Stage 1 themes, specifically the ones in UFO and in HSiFS (I am one of those people who likes the newer Windows soundtracks more). But yeah, this theme is better than most of the Stage 1 themes.
ZUN's comment about the track: "Weeell. This song turned out kind of a pretty cool one. But, it might be a little too dark. There's that drum pattern in the second half that's almost out of desperation. Just a little. Yep. Ah, well."

The stage boss was also a pushover. I can no hit and no bomb both stages 1 and 2 first try, which surprised me as I kinda sucked at bullet hell.
