Julie Estele only started learning some Pencak Silat after joined Raid 2.. Dian Sastro didn't have any MA training whatsoever before joining this film. She mainly acted in drama romance movies. They did a good job 👍
She was also in Headshot with Iko, the fight on the beach is a classic. Craziest part is? She’s an actress, not a trained martial artist. EDIT: She's also an absolute dime piece lol France represent!

"pusaka means something you hold as symbolism , but can also as weapon if in critical condition
This fight is pretty cool. It’s like a recombination of a bunch of stuff from Tarantino movies. The two villains are dressed like Mia Wallace and The Bride (both Uma Thurman characters) when she’s in America. The fight has elements from different fights in Kill Bill. The way the girl with the wire weapon looks when she dies isn’t unlike how Mr. Orange looks in Reservoir Dog. The fight is cool all on it’s own, but the way it makes all those different elements just flow together so nicely is great too.

I've told people that these movies have brought a fresh breathe into the action genre. I say these movies and John Wick movies have change the dynamic a bit and it's for the better. Changing the stale action formula that we've seen for years
they are so unlike anything I have watched before! so creative and fast paced. The Donnie Yen scenes where he brings in more of his MMA background are really great too

great scene but the bit where she counts down her fingers and pulls her severed pinky finger off always makes me whince. More so than the sword pulled down the forearm or the stab through the side of the neck
Yeah I know what you mean. The choreography is amazing, but they went so overboard with the gore. To the point where you can easily tell they were aiming for shock value, just for the sake of it. As a result, it loses the artistic merits that made the brutality in the Raid films so good. Still, pretty fun movie though.
