Words will never capture how much Lizzie defined me, I still remember sitting at my grandpa's janky old computer because it was my only unrestricted internet access, and just watching her videos all day. She's also been one of the things that connected my mom and I, as we both were utterly enticed and obsessed with the first season of One Life. (Real ones remember the kidnapped Lizzie quest, lol.) LDShadowLady to this day, stands as one of the most wonderful and kind role models I ever had the chance to see, and I will forever be grateful for every tough day, week, and even month her silly little minecraft videos got me through.

I’ve always loved Lizzie’s content. I found her videos when she was doing her first solo series and she has remained one of my favorite mc youtuber. I was always amazed watching her because she was often beating out the guys she’d play with. I always felt inadequate whenever I’d play with my guy friends, but she made me want to work harder. I met Lizzie years ago at Vidcon and she was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met (I also got to meet Sparklez too hehe). This was right around 2013 I believe. I was on my way into my friend’s hotel when she was leaving. She likely wasn’t used to being recognized yet because both of us were sorta shy, but she stayed and chatted with me for a bit before having to leave. She was very kind in person and let me take a photo with her. I’ll always remember the excitement in that moment and I’m still so appreciative of her

I started watching her in 2011 when I stumbled upon her little minecraft episodes that she had began, I was really young back then and barely knew any english comming from a foreign country. I remember being excited comming from school just to watch her new episodes on my small LG T-385 phone where I could see like 10 pixles and the audio was wack xD I was struggling to understand what she was saying bc of my english but slowly I heard words and put them into context and my english started improoving rapidly! I can honestly say I learned english from her and expanded my vocabulary a lot just from watching her, I wouldn't be where I am today without her really. I also remember talking to her on facebook in 2013 regularly asking her actually really weird questions in my broken english xD one of the questions being if she was going to marry Joel, which well, came true eventually :P I still watch Lizzie today, mostly her older content that's also unlisted beacuse she is busy with her house her life and ulpoads only when she feels the inspiration comming through, props to her! I still hope both her and Joel will still be in the gaming community because I would love to still meet them in person, I've been watching her for almost 13 years now, I have a job I can afford a flight to England by myself now, I could meet them on my own xD I love Lizzie and always will, she is a really kind hearted person who i've seen do no harm to anyone
