Just in time for the concurrently Paris Olympics. Ni-launch ito yung station ID days or weeks bago ang 1995 Asian Games in Thailand. The new PTV ident is used also to promoted for both the afford mentioned 1995 Asian Games and the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.
This was at the time when PTV put more focus on news, current affairs and sports. Most of their entertainment shows in the early 90s were cancelled due to poor ratings. Though they still have drama series and specials back then, like VIVA-produced Tierra Sanggre, Mukha ng Buhay, Mikaela and Pangarap Kong Jackpot, which was co-produced with PCSO.

This video could have been recorded from PTV na carried ng Skycable or other cable provider. Very common in the early 90s na may ganitong artifact/interference ang mga channels ng Skycable yung parang herringbone pattern.
