- Located in the United States, one of the world's largest volcanoes is gearing up to explode. It's known as the Yellowstone Volcano, and it's not just any regular volcano. Instead, it's a supervolcano! If Yellowstone decided to erupt, the results would be devastating. But just how bad would they be? Is there anything we could do to stop it? Just heard Yellowstone has been hit by some earthquakes, so I’m here just to do some research.
What you probably do not know is that Yellowstone has had about 20 minor eruptions in the time between the three major ones. So we can only hope that in the event an eruption takes place, it will not destroy the entire planet, only the Unit.... er never mind I think the Americans are going to beat the volcano to destroying North America.

Was watching a doco on this and it's pretty amazing stuff. It's the magma chambers underneath the volcano that are massive and could cause the damage. This is the "mother" of all volcanoes...mother nature's finest and deadliest creations I reckon!.

With those thousands/millions of deaths, the world wide economy is getting affected. Trillions are being poured into the market in america, china lost entire providence's to Corona for a time, and I imagine they are still getting heavily affected right now. Italy went under, Europe is being kicked. Not to mention we are currently in a stock market bubble, and although I haven't done much research on it, it's not hard to see what would happen if that bubble pops too due to the extended quarantine.

You can't. Though Yellowstone is one of the few most monitored volcanos it doesn't mean they will have fair enough warning. Plus why would they want to warn their money givers (aka tourists) they would rather risk lives and make money than even remotely warn the public. It may not blow for another thousand years but it could blow in our life time too. It's LAST major eruption as stated though time frames been debated was 300k years ago or whatever. Since then the volcano has erupted 40+ smaller eruptions. Activity is picking up and each huge earthquake around the world is affecting the caldera as well.
