- Lauren Zima is back to recap episode eight of Tayshia Adams’ season of ‘The Bachelorette!’ It was an art day at The La Quinta and one of the men bared it all… literally. Meanwhile, Zac and Ben both get real about their struggles, Tayshia scares Eazy in more ways than one, and Noah and Bennett go head to head, leaving us with a ‘to be continued.’ As always, please drink responsibly. I saw tons of people on Twitter saying Zac’s struggle with addiction was a red flag, and I really take issue with that. I applaud his honesty! We need to end the stigma around addiction. And cheers to Ben for opening up about his ED. Such good conversations happening this season!

I agree, but I guess the only thing I would want to look more into if I were Tayshia is how over it and changed he is. I can only imagine how hard it would be to be with someone who had occasional relapses. Not assuming Zac has, but if I were dating someone with that background I’d be a little cautious of that. But having a past and being a changed person after it is great.
@UCoNselOPjB74EcUzKafD6iw I’m completely aware of the reason people said it was a red flag. I never said it was his honesty that people were upset by. It’s a discussion to be had between Zac and his partner, in this case Tayshia. Zac has clearly done some serious introspective work and is in recovery. To say it’s a “red flag” is feeding into the stigma. You can be in recovery and be capable of having fulfilling, healthy relationships.
Definitely, the guys from this seasons are more expressive about real issue.

I thought Bennett was being rude and offensive. I am not a fan of Noah because he does come across as too young but think Bennett was VERY condescending and insulting with his "gift".

Only those who have had or are currently struggling with an eating disorder understand the depths of strength it took for Ben to bare himself to Tayisha like that.

I personally LOVE that a lot of the men have pasts of so many sorts. I’m only 23 so I have a lot to learn and live through but it’s sooo refreshing to see contestants who are actually humans that have experienced “normal” human scenarios. My heart aches for all this divorced but I am loving the journeys of them opening their hearts again to Tayshia, the men, and all of us ♥️

Of course I thought the stripping was a little weird at first and I was confused, but when he explained that he was letting his guard down because he had an eating disorder for 15 years, I immediatly understood it. Such a brave thing for him to do. I hope he gets that final rose and begins to open up even more.
Agree 100%! I cried when he opened up about his eating disorder. That's a difficult thing to talk about, especially for a man. Team BEN!

I think it's more about looking good for TV than Jojo specifically. I would've done the same every time I knew cameras were rolling as well. The guys probably only get aware when there's a "gather around", not all the time even though they're always being filmed.
I knew, by the way Tayshia looked at Eazy when he said he was falling in love with Tayshia, that Eazy was going home. Maybe he said the L word too soon. The guys really liked him though. They were sadder than Tayshia!

Didn't Peter Kraus from Rachel's season talk about being fat in high school and having an eating disorder while being a male model later on? That's why he became a health & fitness trainer to overcome his past eating disorder.
Ben talking about struggling with an eating disorder, really makes the gesture of him showing up in the art part of the date that much more impactful.
If you put the conversation together with the stripping. It Just puts the strip part of it into perspective... Heavy, and really courageous.

The woman in question claims something happened in October of this year but hasn't reported it to police and came out with it on Twitter. She literally tweeted rape claims. There are currently no legal charges against him and the show's producers found nothing conclusive. I wasn't there and won't pass judgment. I just liked him on the show.

Um, YES. I *am* currently watching The Crown! I completely had the same experience the first time watching, fell asleep every time!! Just jumped back into it and by season 2, am now hooked and also speaking in a British accent around the house.
