- Lauren Zima is back to recap episodes 10 and 11 of this season of The Bachelorette, and so much happened in these back-to-back eps! A toned-down ‘Men Tell All,’ plus ‘hometowns’ at the La Quinta with Tayshia Adams’ final four and the most heart-wrenching goodbyes yet. Tayshia cried, we cried and in perhaps the most devastating goodbye yet, no one cried! Plus, Yosef/Nosef returned with ‘no regrets’ proving he is possibly the worst villain in ‘Bachelorette’ history. I think this is the first season that I actually like all the final guys!
Erile Bean.... This is the first season that I just can't get into. I'm still trying to decipher who' who in the group of guys;
Doubt if any of them are ready to "fall in love" and commit to married life including Tayshia.
Favourite group of guys and yet I thinks she ends up single anyway.

I never like the show, but this time is just so good and so real. I do believe the pandemic has brought the real feeling out of all the contestants.
This group of guys deserved a full season with multiple locations and actual hometowns 😭😩

Right! The one season where we actually had GREAT men (for the most part, at least in the top 4) and they get this 😭
But they also really made this season. Had this not been some of the best casting yet I don’t know that the season would have been as good. The casting really excelled this time. Even the “villain” this time was not that problematic and the drama was minimal. There weren’t any meat heads with low IQ points acting like cave men

I have to side with Noah. Bennett served green juice in flute glasses to everyone except Noah, who got a sippy cup. That was more rude than cute. Despite the rudeness, Noah didn’t flinch and he drank the juice. Bennett is just too condescending for his own good. Noah gets my vote for being more mature.

I do not understand. He needed to define how the guys were picking on him and why. it was because of the date. I understansd both sides. I love bennett however I do not understand how noah is considered a baby when hannah brown was a bachelorette at 25 or so perhaps youngest of the men. And Noah is educated as well considering a registered nurse requires a bachelors nursing degree. However, I see it on bennetts side that he is not a babysitter as he is there to date the bachelorette.

As being married to a wonderful guy but emotionally blocked I kinda of applaud Tayisha for realizing that so early on with Ben. I think they could have made an incredible couple but with that being said, it’s very very emotionally draining to always have to be the one getting all the information out of the emotionally blocked person in the relationship and kinda of non stop encouraging to open up, ask to hear that u are loved, wanted and appreciated. It doesn’t mean you won’t have it with a more emotionally open guy but not to that extent. From experience it’s draining. Sometimes, u just want to feel that ur other half is fighting for u and will do whatever it takes to make it work because you’re worth it! So, it’s smart on her end for recognizing that and knowing herself well enough to know it’s not going to work for her as painful as it may be...
I agree. I am married to a veteran with PTSD and failed suicide attempts. It is not for the faint of heart- the whole time he has been there, I have kept thinking that she is not ready for that. I love my husband dearly, but it can be a struggle when you just don’t know what to do or say. I think he needs to be further out from his experiences and heal a little more before being in a relationship

Definitely team Noah, Bennett didn't really apologize. He said sorry but for the way Noah perceived his actions. He did not apologize for his actions or words, so I think Noah was right to say what he said.

Ben has demonstrated throughout the season he has a very hard time getting in touch with his emotions and opening up, of you can't deal with that send him home. That said, not surprised he spent his break up reassuring her, he has also demonstrated he always tries to ut on a facade to help other people feel better. He acknowledged as much.
Yes I noticed this. I’m not sure what she was expecting or wanted from him during the breakup. But she could’ve been more understanding.
Yes true. Ben reminds me so much of my ex....and he was ex-military too. I suspected it could be ptsd, makes sense. He felt everything I'm sure, but just could not express it. In any way. And it made me feel so unloved, so I totally understand Tayshia and kudos to her for breaking up with him cos it's hard to do. She did it cos she knows she needs more than that, in spite of their inner feelings for each other😔 I hope Ben gets the therapy he needs.
On the whole Bennett apology thing: that was not an apology. Bennett essentially said I'm sorry that you felt that way. He's not owning that what he did is wrong, he's partially blaming Noah for feeling that way. When you're saying "I'm sorry I made you feel that way", you're kind of putting the blame on the other person for not being ok with what you said or did. He should've said, "I'm sorry I spoke to you that way, I didn't realize my words were coming across that way". Noah had every right to call Bennett a Harvard D-bag because, quite frankly, he is. I love Bennett as a character and I follow both Noah and Bennett on insta, but I acknowledge that he can be an elitist prick. Noah was in the right and considering that the people backing Noah were Ivan (on twitter), Demar, Riley, and Blake, versus Kenny and Ed on Bennett's side, speaks volumes.

Bennet did not give an apology, just more gaslighting and projecting like he always does; Hes the one lacking in emotional intelligence and self awareness. Im proud of Noah for calling him out, staying consistent to the truth and not placating to him for Chris, producers or TV.. Lauren thinking Bennets apology was legit and defending his toxic bahavior while still coming at Noah isnt cool at all. I expected more from people like Lauren and Rachel who are big voices in Bachelor Nation, who shouldnt be okay with endorsing such immature and unhealthy behavior and then projecting it onto a super nice guy who the producers didn't even allow us to get to really know because they thought a bad edit and contrived drama would make better TV? i dont agree, and theres alot more depth and want for realness over the fake drama thats usally legit just a bunch of irrelevetnt scenes and vocie overs smooshed together. im kinda over it, i hope producers realize this so we don't have more immauture drama in the new season they think people actally like. If production likes Bennet so much they should date him, but convinng America that his behavior is acceptable and Noahs isnt is not cool at all and i expexted more from Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima and Rachel Linday just to name a few. i wonder when reality tv will realize, reality it always better than contrived drama and thinking your audeunce isnt perceptive and doesnt know the differnece between healthy and honest communication vs toxic and maniplative behavior; Bad edits or not it was soooo clear from day 1 that Noah was a good guy but for somereason the character of Bennet was more imnportant to producers than allowing relationships to forma nd the audeucne et to know any of the other guys amd hear more of their personal convos with Tay vs Bennet talking shit anf being condeceing and not funny or entertaining.

Ivan's mom & Tayshia also had the same hairstyle! Hair parted on the same side, straightened, and below-shoulder length + Dresses rustyorange, silky, & knee-length! From what we've been shown, their fathers seem very similar to one another, too. Maybe they're all similar people, so that's why Ivan and Tayshia were attracted to one another.
Ben just couldn't or wouldn't give her what she needed to hear. Therefore I wasn't surprised she kept her composure simply because she put her guard up thinking he wasn't into her.
Based on what we've seen of Ben, it looks as though he might have ptsd, but doesn't know it or realize how bad it is. He's completely right about his ptsd-related inability to express his emotions to Tayshia being a contributing factor to why she decided against being with him. He's mentioned he attends therapy on a frequent & regular basis - he'll work on it & he's going to be ok :) (He was in the military & obtaining ptsd during active duty in the military is a common & sad occurance.)
@@biehope4106 I agree, I suffered from ptsd and have totally healed from it. I see moments when Ben just stares blank for a few moments and I thought perhaps that is ptsd related, the mind just can't process what's happening in the moment, usually during stress. I have friends who have told me that during the time I was experiencing ptsd, I would just shut down and not respond to them. I honestly don't even recollect it. But I'm a living example of being able to heal and even becoming a stronger person from it. I hope he will not let this experience discourage him and continue to heal and find love.
If you think about it, lauren was a similar way on Arie's bachelor season. On the date, arie asked lauren do you like me because I really do like you. He found it difficult to see how lauren felt about him. Sometimes people need to be motivated and take longer to unwrap. I question why was he so nervous to tell her he had feelings for her. If he did, I think he would have stayed,

I'm just here to say I feel like Tayshia's season was the BEST season EVER. For several different reasons, on a multitude of levels. Take away all the travel and over-the-top dates, and we got to see actual *relationships* form, and we got to hear actual *conversations* and real life things that actually *matter* - LOVE Tayshia; she's stunning, intelligent, and *emotionally* intelligent to boot - best Bachelorette EVER - and her Top 3 are amazing although I feel like her most authentic connection is with Zac. And any of her Top 4 - and Riley, too - would make amazing leads, themselves! (also - maybe, if for whatever reason Tayshia winds up single after this, maybe she could come back and have the *full season* she should've had to begin with?? - I mean, who doesn't adore her and want to see more of her??!)

But DEAR GOD the way Yosef talked to her was verbally abusive and I’m honestly disappointed that production didn’t step in and get her out of that situation, especially if she was in an abusive relationship in the past. Ben has had these weird moments throughout where he is frozen and stoic and can't express himself and then going to an extreme and expressing it in one go - only as a reaction to Tayshia being upset at him though.. never really on his own, ya know? Although I was hoping he would snap out of it and do it on his own without Tayshia pulling it out of him, he choked again when he had the chance to tell her he loves her!! So no.. not surprised he went home. I also don't blame her for being mad at him for shutting down, because that's the reason she's sending him home to begin with! I actually think T is soooo sweet and empathetic that if he had told her at the end he loves her, to give him one last chance - she would have considered it... so yea... disappointed too. 😶

Ben was shocked. A lot of people just don’t want other people to see their emotions. They just want to process their emotions alone.
Oh no Ben was my favorite, I was really shocked! I can relate to Ben, I can see he is sensitive and has trouble expressing emotions. I didn't see him as emotionless when sent home, it seemed he had too much emotion and didn't know how to express it, perhaps even shocked. At the same time saying "I'll be okay" seemed to me like he was trying to make Tayshia feel better. She might watch this back and feel sad with that decision, I hope Ben comes back or finds a person who can understand him better!
Noah wins not Botox Bennett. Just saw an interview with Noah and he is smart, well-spoken AND he saves lives. I am still rooting for Brendon. I think what he and Tayshia have is real.

I think maybe I slept on Riley too! The men tell all I realized he was actually my favorite.
My favorite part about Riley was the look he had on his face when Yosef was talking. He clearly felt protective of Tayshia. He looked like he was exercising some serious self-control not to clock Yosef. I hope he's on BIP 🙂

What I loved about the last 4 was they actually got along, was supportive of each other and were "all" stand-up men. Tayshia hit the jackpot with these guys...I think any of them are going to treat her like royalty!

Was anyone else rubbed the wrong way when Zac said he changed his mind and wanted marriage and kids now that he met tayshia? It makes me wonder, why did he even join the show if this wasn’t something he wanted before? Idk he just seems a little off to me. I really think Tayshia has the strongest connection with Ivan and Brendan, and I really hope it’s one of those two at the end of all this.
Actually on previous episodes he said he was ready. When he said to her that he never felt the urge to settle down, but now at 36 he is ready.
Not so much Zac, the person who rub me the wrong way was Ben, watch that moment with the friend Antonia again , when she asked him if he loves her, he easily said no, until she decisively said : yeah you love her, then he hesitantly said yeah I love her🤔, still he was incapable of telling her how he felt, not even hinted to her that this is where he was headed, Taysha left with no reassurance when she has 3 other great guys to choose from, smh, the funny thing is I really feel that she probably likes Ben more than probably Ivan or Brendan. So either Ben feelings are not as strong as we think, and he’s too much of a nice guy to lie to her face, or he totally blew his chance.

He screen shotted his texts with his sister on Instagram , it shows his sister asking his info so she could fill out an application for him. I think he is really unconnected from the bachelor world, like has now idea how it all goes down. Anyways, it doesn’t surprise me that he was saying he wasn’t into having a family, this really wasn’t on his radar.

Tayshia has been telling Ben ALL SEASON that she needs him to open up emotionally and that entire episode of him not talking to her during the cocktail party is just another example of Ben not “showing up”. Having to constantly ask for someone to open up is exhausting so I’m not at all surprised this happened. It just gets old after awhile.

WTF! Tayshia was more upset with Blake leaving, then Ben. She is confused.
I wonder if maybe she was just disappointed and angry at Ben. She is so smitten with him and I think him not expressing how he was feeling just made her feel like everything that they had and everything she was feeling was all a lie. I do not blame Ben. For someone who suffers with an eating disorder, tried to commit suicide in 2018 and 2019, and then probably has PTSD from serving in the arm, I am so proud for how much he opened up. To play devil's advocate I can understand why she needed more and why she had to send him home. It really sucks though. I think with Blake she cried because she just felt guilty. She knew she wasn't feeling it with him so it just made her upset that she had to send him home. I think he was also the first one for her to send home that it really started to get super real for her.

I think that Ben is going to come back next week and try to profess his love to Tayshia. Kind of like Bennett did. Although this time it will be even more tough for her because she had strong feelings for Ben and she was upset that he didn't show any emotion after she dumped him.

Unfortunately I think she will pick Zac. And then breakup when they get in the real world. She likes wineries/parties and he is sober. Nothing wrong with either but relationships are hard if you're not on the same page.
Girl me too. I do not think where they are in their lives will mesh well. Especially since he runs I think a sober home. I honestly think she will end up getting with Brendan after she picks Zac. The after the final rose will be there journey to see each other again. Maybe they will pull a bachelor in paradise and tayshia will show up at his door like she did with JPJ. Not going to lie, I am here for that! Brenden is amazing!

The Bennett montage made my day....and then I remembered that we still have Ben's exit coming up. :( As much as I understand why she sent him home, it was still painful to watch. He was my favorite of the final four. I do think it's super sad that he has so much trouble with expressing his feelings. I hope he is able to find a way to work through that. It definitely makes me worry for him.
