Thank you for being so real. We all have those spaces. Getting started is very hard, especially because of the emotional feelings in some of the situations. That’s my “roadblock”. Watching videos like yours is giving me inspiration and “courage” to start…although very slowly. But, I guess slow is better than nothing, right? Thanks again❣️
What I would like to remind stay-at-home moms is that there is plenty of time to pick up a career and work later in life. I returned to work after ten years at home, and then at the age of 50 moved to another state and began a new career there.🦋🦋🦋
That is a great point!! I treat this like a career now and who knows what the future will hold. But what a blessing to witness my little ones grow and grow along with them
I love your videos. You have auch a knack for style and creativity. Your home is so cozy, warm and inviting. You are all for family which l so love. Your children are so precious and l love how strong your Faith is. Your joy and happiness and honesty is such a gift to others. Many thanks.
I needed this video! I love you share the keeping/storing the sentimental items. I'm so like that! No, it's not weird to keep your precious little ones hair. 🥰
I will give you feedback … I get so excited when I see you have posted a new video, and I enjoy each one. Love your energy and perspective … you are truly honest and real!!
Awesome Video!!!! It is something about returning from a trip. Makes you more motivated to declutter!!!! Setting a timer makes each project attainable!!!! Especially your "bag" system for cleaning out the car!!!! Great for the boys to see and assisted in having a clean and organized home!!!! Organized "doesn't" mean perfect or seamless!!!!
Emily! You are the organization Princess! You have inspired me to get busy, set a timer (that’s genius) and get myself organized! And Baby Cass is adorable!💙
I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your channel! You are so honest and transparent, which I really appreciate Your face when you found your shoe! I must admit that I had a little chuckle 😂 Thank you so much for all your hard work Sending best wishes from my home in England to yours
I love the way you made your jewelry/make-up shelf look so pretty! It’s hard to get rid of sentimental things and I love your idea of using them as storage.
Hi Emily, baby Cass is a mini Gideon, so cute! I also kept my kids' first haircut trimmings, I saved them in an envelope and placed them in their baby books.
You can buy racks that will create shelves for kitchen cabinets. I have wire ones, but there are plastic ones too. Those would probably work in your craft cabinet. I also have a small metal strip with hooks attached. It's really for kitchen utensils, but I used it in my bedroom to hang necklaces on, and it worked really well.
I’ve also been decluttering my wardrobe and children’s toys as the grandkids are outgrowing them. Time for a Goodwill drop. Your shelves look so much nicer now and it’s very satisfying!
Blessings also to you. I love to organize. I just did a closet last week. It is freeing to do. I usually have an ongoing Goodwill box. I'm sure you will come up with something to hang necklaces. You are so creative.
I bought a rack and really went through my necklaces really went through them and they bring me joy from seeing them also my pendant I keep in a thrifted compartment box . Could you use your physio therapy in everyday life ( with your children or husband ) and it’s my first time watching what a beautiful home . Love the idea of glass dishes for containers .
I just got a rack for mine too! I think once I get them hung it will make me want to wear them more too 🥰 and you are so right, I use all those skills and maturity that school offered me the opportunity to gain 🥰
Every thing looks really nice! We're going back to Tennessee this weekend to pack up the rest of our things & get everything into a storage unit. I'm planning your to do some decluttering myself! I know i have a ton of clothes either i no longer wear, that are too small or i definitely won't need in Florida! Same with shoes..i have several totes they i need to go thru, mmm I'm dreading it😄 I'll donate all that to a womens recovery home. There's lots of other things I'm sure I'll get rid of too. So when we get a home in here in FL I'll just have to unpack & organize! Lol dreading that too😄 I just hate the process of moving! But thanks for sharing!
Loved this video. What I do with the items I feel bad for tossing, I take a picture of the item and then toss it. In a week or two if the pic doesn’t seem important anymore I delete it. If it’s still important I’ll hang on to it
That is a great idea!! We have started having our 4 year old take pictures of all the art he does that he doesn’t want to toss and then we only keep a few
Okay I’m motivated sister! I’ve got a few zones that I have been shoving things into …… it’s just been a very busy time and I ghosted some areas. I also set timers. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙋🏻♀️❤️🧡
Emily, I think I've told you before but I still can't "prune" any of my PT notes or books...I've been out of my DPT program for 14 yrs and I just can't make myself get rid of it. I guess perhaps bc it represents such a significant and hard time of my life. Idk!?!?😅
It was a hard and significant time!!! There is no “right” way to go about it. I’m sure whole lot more of my notes were digital than yours so that makes it a lot easier for me! 😅
You are very normal to save a lock of your son's hair. If you think that is weird, I still have all my childrens baby teeth from when the Tooth Fairy visited. ...And I have 8 kids! Yep, lots of teeth.

Slow it’s definitely better than never! Don’t lets the perfectionism get in the way! Rooting for you!
I was a stay-at-home Mom for 14 years and then I retured to work. I loved both "career" paths. Enjoy where life takes you.
I totally am! Thank you 🥰

You did a really good job decluttering. The baby is adorable.
Thank you!! 😊
Starting in small areas is a good place to start. Then tackle the harder ones .😊❤
Yes! I like that tip

Thank you!! I love that little spot now and want to find more crystal for organizing 🥰

Yay!! So sweet!

Oh true!! I ordered a little rack that sounds like that for the necklaces. Will try it out soon and share if it’s good

Yes!! It is so freeing 🙌🏻
That curl is adorable 😍 you’re not weird. I have my pieces of my kids umbilical cord dried and shaped into hearts 🤣
Hahah you do you mama!
I love your tip regarding starting with the smallest area. I definitely need the boost!😜
It’s a good one!!! Hope it helps 🥰
Just goes to show you don’t need all day to declutter. I have done one cabinet in a day, it helps. Looks great Emily.
Yes! Little but frequent steps work!

Oh good! Hope I could offer some inspiration for your endeavors
Emily , you can use those folding dish racks for cupboards to make another shelf. Maybe even thrift one. Lol😄
That’s a great idea!!
Always love your videos ❤
Thank you!!
LOVE your videos!
Thank you 🤗
Thanks for the inspiration 😅

The "homeless toys" killed me 😂 major Toy Story vibes
lol very true
Great video

Loved this one! A sign I need to clean out my car lol
Woohoo!! Get it!
