Well Pasquale, the word 'uncia' doesn't actually come from Italian, but was a unit of measure used by the Romans in Italy. I wish I had made that clearer! It just shows that you can never trust anyone!
It was incredible for me to learn that you can make whole sentences in Italian which are identical to Latin! I just wanted to clarify that it came from Latin so I wasn't spreading false information!
