And yes I respect the hell out of that man if things were different and I knew I could get help/assisted with showing me how to get to this man’s level and get keeping my Medicare and Medicaid I would 100% gladly jump on that road traveling the country actually loving my life. Ive been an excavating contractor for years, have a 10 wheeler dump truck, one man show. This video is humbling to me. I could never be equal to this man...his determination is putting me to shame for the times I grumble. I helped a buddy paralyzed from waist down learn to play bass guitar so I could put a small worship team together. He did fine on guitar. I watched him pull up in his pick up, swing his wheel chair components out, swing in to the chair. He would ask me to grab his guitar..away we went to jam...every week for several years.
This guy wanted to do everything by himself. He created tools so he could drop and hook trailers himself. This video is old. Since then, he has been searching for a job. Not one company including the one that let us use the truck for this, will hire him. They fear his success.
Don't forget about "racism white supremacy," playing a very significant part for people of color of not being able to fully be (grown or mature people) especially here in "the hell's of north amerikkka!"
This guy is great , a wonderful inspirational person to many , hopefully a engineer or someone will come up with a better way of storing the wheel chair at the bottom so it will be secure and out of the weather,
The wheel chair ought to be compatible with the leading truck seat manufacturers. Also trailer or trailers could be set up with the air lines at the tail end of the frame with in easy reach. Landing gear boxes ought to be engineered to be powered by a battery impact! Anything to get anyone out there who desires to work in the transportation industry.

GOD BLESS THIS YOUNG MAN, I just need someone to talk for because they out take me.. I have a lot to tell more about 👍👍🙏❤️
I love what he is doing. I love his determination to keep working when others would just collect a disability check. But this process needs to be faster. 10 minutes to get in the truck is a lot of time. I drove tractor trailers for over 20 years. To back into certain loading docks or parking spots require getting out of the truck to make sure you don’t hit anything. Fueling the truck usually takes about 15-20 minutes just to pump. His slow lift will add another 20 minutes to that time. Some loads require the trailer tandem to be slid. You have to get in and out of the truck multiple times. A 2 minute tandem slide is now going to take him 40 minutes. It’s a great idea but that lift needs to be improved.

This guy is great , a wonderful inspirational person to many , hopefully a engineer or someone will come up with a better way of storing the wheel chair at the bottom so it will be secure and out of the weather,
My exact thoughts . Have a compartment for it at the bottom
@@pwarren1010 I would want that for all landing gear and yeah that lift should be faster in case of bad weather
Ray Budzilek Jr come up with the schematics you might have a good idea that’s lying somewhere in your brain.👍🏾
@Fuck TH-cam Investigation is likely already underway, I believe for justice...🚛🌈
A man who does not let the fact that he cannot walk stop him from doing what he luvs!! Much respect!! I too will be starting my trucking journey🙂 just got mine CDL July 8, 2022
Congratulations!!
Do not ever listen to those saying you cannot do it . There are always sour grapes around spouting this garbage. Your determination and get it done will get it done , you are a better man than many . Would ride with you anywhere. Ol B ear a retired road runner . Love them trucks , miss them , started out in an old long nose screaming Detroit BROCKWAY . RETIRED DRIVING 9670 s corn binders. God Bless young man. 84 years old and miss the road.
I can not even begin to imagine how frustrating that must be at times. I have no idea how the hell he would manage in the snow and ice. I have a feeling it wont make much difference to him. Good on you Driver.
Inspiring and definitely humbling when you start to complain and say what you can't do.
Cant never could.
hola impresiotante video. de superacion
Parabéns caminhoneiro sempre com muita vontade de de vencer na sua jornada.
Much respect to you young Man.
You Sir earned a big ol dammit boy.

Why would people dislike a hard working man, people who dislike are the handicaps, for not appreciating his hard work. God bless you brother.

I’m in the same boat and got life time benefits they post to keep me mobile and there’s no lawyers for this kind of stuff... I’m under the old law back in the 1983 to 1986... I been wanting one of these lifts for my pickup, been in bed for 5 years can’t go to loved ones funeral or go to groceries shopping... GOD BLESS THIS YOUNG MAN, I just need someone to talk for because they out take me.. I have a lot to tell more about 👍👍🙏❤️

@Michael Medley you got a right man
Michael Medley use to feel the same way but far be it from me to judge anyone I help if I can and let karma take the rest
@Michael Medley eam mm mm mm m .,a, um.
Yeah Roadmaster ! I think it's great. But I know you getting all types of benefit for adjusting to accommodate paraplegic. Nonetheless great job.
I think most decent people would see the chair lift and offer to help the driver back, slide tandems, dolly down, fuel or whatever. I know I would.
I've seen people take longer than that just because they suck.
I was in Asbestos/HazMat for 19 yrs..I'm 5'4"..one day I was working on my knees with my kneepads on and I tolded the crew look if I had no legs I can still do my job then I took the "extension leg iron",now I'm 6'6"..I am not going to quit myself..today I am Tractor Trailer..yours very truly L/CPL Alfonso Cantu USMC
Much love and respect to the truck company they made it possible for this guy to operate. Few employers are like this..... To go that extra mile for just accommodate this guy at the company... Nuff love and respect to this guy who never sit down and say coz am disabled i can't wrk

UP UNTIL THE MID 1990s
THERE WAS THIS TRUCKER THAT HOSTLED TRAILERS AROUND THE KANSAS CITY AREA!
HE HAD NO LEGS AT ALL AND DROVE A CABOVER TRUCK.
THE TRUCK HAD AN AUTOMATIC
TRANSMISSION, A RARITY IN THOSE DAYS AND HAND CONTROLS FOR BRAKES AND THROTTLE!
HE HAD AN EXTRA GRAB IRON ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR AND WOULD SHINNY UP, NO ELECTRIC
LIFT! HE USED A FOLD UP WHEEL CHAIR AND HAD A ROPE TO LIFT IT TO THE CAB!
I HAVENT SEEN HIM FOR MANY YEARS NOW AND ALWAYS WONDERED WHO HE WAS!
I remember that to. He was by no meams a slow driver. He put the truck down the road. He gave you a run for your money. Always talking smack about how you got passed by a crippled. lol
Eric Shimer LOL I GUESS YOU GOTTA BET THAT WAY TO DO WHAT HE DOES!!
I WONDER WHAT THE CDL MEDICAL INSPECTORS DID WHEN HE CAME IN FOR AN EXAM!
I NEVER GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HIM HOOK AND UNHOOK TRAILERS !
Wow that's determination
I wanted them to help him so bad but was proud they didn't have to..
He never wanted it. Or needed it.
@@artoftheflatlands That's awesome!!
they don't get to roll with him all of the time... I'm sure he would smack hands if they tried.

Atleast he is willing to work
He was one of the hardest working students I have ever had the honor to train.
Wow this is truly amazing! My brother's determination to not be a victim but to show everyone that he's an warrior and will not be controlled by his disability is truly inspirational.
Now this young man have motivated me there's no more excuses saying you can't do something because you handicap God bless you bro.
The only thing that is a handicap is the word "Can't "
His determination is worthy of a standing ovation.
People say that they can not find a job really appreciate the courage
Really man just watching him take this long makes me feel like a lazy person now hes a great example why a human being should never say i can't
That is really awesome man keep on keeping on Brother
Exactly right what an absolute legend.
