This channel has its humble beginnings in Dad videos of the kids. As time went on I added other things to it, like cat videos, a diving video, and most famously Clyde Dallas getting into a Truck (4 Million Views and climbing). I then decided to add instructional videos on how to Pre-trip a truck, and some on how to maneuver a truck. Then added a few road training videos. I will continue to add content to this growing channel. some time in the future you will see some videos removed as they will be out of date. I know that this will drop my numbers, but I am more concerned with being accurate. Yes this channel was monetized, then you Tube dropped me like trash. Thanks for visiting like and subscribe if you want, I'd appreciate it, share the crap out of the content.

But how would he get in the sleeper?
U know how buses open their doors when stopped @ the RR crossings. Why do hazmat trucks roll down both windows & not open the truck door like tht of buses when stopped @ the crossings?
@@davidchurchill1651 well the short answer that I believe would be that the door that they open does the window does not roll down so the only way to listen for the train on that side simply is the open the door
Does this school still teach with a special adapted truck for paraplegic??
FAA U!
Imma paraplegic of 17yrs and this some I would love to test my advantage with.. but question wat trail would he pull, flatbed only with no tarp?
im paralyzed as well and want to do the same, my biggest fear will be being on the road and having to take a shit LOL this is a process even when youre not prairie dogging LOL
I hear a lot of crap from people with two legs that work really well about how Dallas can’t do this and can’t do that but I see him breaking all those rules laws of physics and everything else on a regular basis. Kind of makes me wonder who can’t do what
@@artoftheflatlands I am serious about trying to get my CDL. I live in Texas but would travel to go where I need to go.Just need a school to take me on.
@@SimonCordova-kr1pl none of these schools have the gall to help. They LLC talk a big game
DOT watching: "You know you have to count all that as 'On Duty, Not Driving', right?"
When I was driving trucks I had to get out of my truck like 10 times. I don't know how this dude makes it, he has to disconnect and connect trailer hoses. He has to drop and hook trailer several times a day , then close trailer door several times a day too !! I'll say it's so hard for a normal driver!!
Hi, thanks for the video… is the same in New Jersey ?
possibly, please check with the cdl handbook for NJ.
Hey I’ve been looking but hopefully you maybe able to help me out. I want to get back into trucking but I’m disabled and would need a truck modified so I can dive it. You know any schools that may be able to help me out?
Let me check around, where are you located ?
👍👍👍
Cool😊
Pretty high quality camera there
Thanks @arthurtheepicguy2025
Is it legal for a handicapped person to drive a long vehicle?
Yes
Gandoff gonna show that other cat whos the bigger cat
😊😊wooah😊😊
This is an awful idea. How does he strap his loads or close trailer doors? Imagine sliding tandems and have to go in and out of the truck 2 to 4 times to make sure its in the right hole!!!!???? And imagine going under the trailer to make sure kingpin is secure during pretrip inspection!!!??? He needs to chase other realistic dreams....
Magic. And coco puffs
Clyde is a fully-licensed CDL with a flawless driving and safety record. Just because you don't understand how he gets things done does not mean it should not be done.
Every material/hazardous vehicles need this: Sign or a sticker that says “This vehicle stops at railroad crossings”
Wait you don’t have to lift freight
So the company makes the truck that a we will touch the so the they put the chair so if anybody got hurt so they put the wheelchair and they put a chair on the truth so everybody can get in truck with wheelchairs
What is the correct name for that lift?
Are these trucks automatic?
Yes
Is the maneuver same with class A
If I needed information about training for such Jobs .. can you help pls ???
Call the truck driving schools

I'm not sure what laws are in Canada.
Best 10 minutes i have watched in a long time.... 33 years quadriplegic here.... you are very inspirational and living my dream....safe travels sir!!!
Damn bra. I’m looking to get cleared after watching you. T2 paraplegic. Rock on!
Wow this is truly amazing! My brother's determination to not be a victim but to show everyone that he's an warrior and will not be controlled by his disability is truly inspirational.
A man who does not let the fact that he cannot walk stop him from doing what he luvs!! Much respect!! I too will be starting my trucking journey🙂 just got mine CDL July 8, 2022
Congratulations!!
This is 1001% of respect no more fuc*king excuse everyone on her need to respect this guy and get out tf ING bed and get your CDL and work hard if this guy can do it you can
Stfu! Dude this is amazing!!!! It has always been a dream of mine to be a truck driver doing what I love best “DRIVING” seeing America and get paid doing it. . . .but because I never knew about this I am disabled with osteogenesis imperfecta and stuck living on $700 and afraid to work and get my benefits “health insurance” taken away because if I get hurt I end up breaking a lot of bones and can go into financial debt in one fall on the ground, but I now am scared and stressed out at 30 worried about my mother passing away not only because she is all I have but because I know I will probably be homeless
I'm not gonna lie , being a pro driver is not easy, it's dangerous, one of the most dangerous, the chance of slips and falls is a high probability. I have sustained many injuries over 30 + years nothing severe for me, but for someone with your condition probably life threatening. If that doesn't scare you off, then begin by asking your doctor how you could do this career without screwing yourself up. If the doc is worth anything he/she will give you advice on how you could safely proceed. I believe that with today's tech nearly anyone can become a driver, if you operate a car you are likely able to operate a modern semi.
I’ve got a simple question if he needs to go to the bathroom in a big hurry how does he do it
How do astronauts do it?
@@artoftheflatlands I don’t know I’m not an astronaut
@@Mitusrides yeah, I get that this is a weird concept. But with the technology that is available now, we can employ a guy who is in a chair to basically babysit the truck. He'll, get him a portable potty and he's good.
@@artoftheflatlands yeah you know with all these truckstop food Sometimes it’s not prepared properly and now you got the water shits nightmare for any truck driver
@@artoftheflatlands what I do is Detroit drivers a little more barbaric but it does the same basic function I place a trash Bag on the floor spread it out pop a squat over it and piss into a bottle and shit into the bag and like I said a little barbaric but hey it works in a pinch a specially if you don’t want to haul a porta potty around But as any truck driver knows when it comes to that certain type of emergency you got act quick
This is totally inspirational. Love this guys giving 165%. I'm curious how does someone pass the medical to drive while disabled.
Im paralyzed but I can drive with my hand gears I have a 2500 and a 36ft trailer wanna start non cdl hot shot driving but can’t because no one will do my DOT physical can anyone point me in the rite direction??!
Go to the Department of transportation office and apply for an "SPE" you can do this olnline as well. you will have to fail a DOT physical first though.
@@artoftheflatlands I went to the website can’t find SPE section or where to apply
“Skill performance evaluation” found it
What's the chances of me being able to drive trucks again after my heart transplant ??
Ask your doctor and check the FMCSR . But based on what I have seen chances for local driving is good. See if you qualify for a SPE. Contact the federal motocarriers
@@artoftheflatlands thank you buddy
Salute to you sir ! Lovely and hard working man
I'm a right leg amputee below the knee In my Primary doctor today did not won't to do my Physical... I need help 😫 I'm already in trucking school ... this SPE is kicking my ass
There is a form you must fill out, after you fail the DOT medical. If your doctor is not in the registry to administer the physical, he cannot do it. Go to a care spot or an urgent care location that offers the dot physical. Fail it ,then print the SPE form fill it out and send it in. A federal agency will be in contact with you about it, once they approve it, you will not fail because of your injury. Make sure you are healthy in all other ways. Don't give up!! You can do this!!!
Ok so he has it set up inside so he can drive but what is he going to do if the truck brakes down on the road ????? And he has to find a better way to get all that stuff up in there and by the way that lift sounds horrible but I have to give it to him never give up I my self am a below the knee amputee and I want to go get my cal so this is pure motivation for my no dought
Oh get over it
Great job flatlander!!
Hi
@@beverlymenier6065 ok. I'll explain.
Nice little dump truck

All I see is a liability putting other drivers lives at risk on the road.
I see a man who had a dream and had the nuts to make it happen. If we had more people with his will and determination in this country we would be better off. Thank you for your opinion, thank you for keeping it clean too.
@@artoftheflatlands he can't perform his own pretrip inspection. I applaud him for not letting his disability keep him down however he is putting other people into risk every time he drives that truck. In an emergency he will likely kill someone. At any given time he can be eighty thousand pounds going down the highway. If his power steering goes out he will need both hands to steer and he also needs his hands to throttle and brake. 500k semi crashes happen a year in America by full able bodied people.
@@davidscott1340 Actually yes he does his own pre trip. well enough to pass the CDL exam. Look, this guy is special. not every paraplegic could do what he can do. Its a force of willpower that moves this one. And his driving is fine. he has control over the rig in every way the hand controls work just as if they were worked by feet or any other part. Fear is what is bothering you. he is not a danger any more than you or I.
@@artoftheflatlands well enough means he scrapes by with bare minimum in a perfect environment......
@@davidscott1340 its better than most drivers, who don't do one at all. Besides, he did his exam in Florida, in the rain.then had to go to Georgia and perform the same thing for them too. no this guy did not scrape by.
🙏 praise you and Blessings to you and your family, I was looking for a video to see about how to get my mom in and out of the truck so she can go with me, I too have had two ruptured disks in my back since 2017 and in 2018 they told me I would need surgery but I didn't want surgery and have been praying and asking God to heal me but he hasn't, sometimes we go through things so he can make us stronger because he knows who will listen to his voice and know how to help others who may face trials and tribulations because that is the the biggest thing is to love others as we love ourselves. I get discouraged on how I feel sometimes and cry because my husband is not here helping me out but I remember that God tells us not to put our faith in people but to look for him and seek him. I pray that everyone seeks God always, I want to share some podcasts I listen to on Spotify that help me while I am driving, they are Windows and Mirrors and they go through the whole Bible and talk about it, Christian Questions and answers where you can ask a question and they answer and put on the podcast and Focus on the Family to just name a few. God Bless everyone watching 🙏💝
