Planning to camp on St H's later in the year and have been searching the web for hints and tips. Glad that I found this film, even though your gear is a bit on the weighty side for me. Will be going over on a paddleboard with just a bit less stuff. Looks like you had a fab time - would love the set up if the board had more capacity. Keep up the great work :)

Excellent video mate and thanks for sharing the parking/lauch location in another comment.
Will have to get the kayak loaded up and pay it a visit in the very near future.👍

There's a car park on the east side towards the end of the lake..If your driving from Keswick. It's a national trust car park with direct access to the lake. If your a national trust member you can park overnight for free.
      Thanks for watching.

You are right, we had them with us, although we didn't see an immediate danger so didn't put them on. Will be wearing them next time.

So some handy advice there... No need to wear your buoyancy aid until you're in danger 🤔

Most bizarre comment iv ever recieved on here. It's a shame really as there is obviously some homophobic prejudice deep down even though this is supposed to be a "joke". I hope you dont inflict it on people in real life.
