I had someone claiming to be a biology expert trying to tell me the other day that apparently there are "male and female brains" and you can tell which is which by some microscopic difference in a tiny piece of brain tissue and it has nothing to do with the X/Y chromosomes.
This was a 20 something in college and this is what they're being taught.

We keep saying gw is making changes to the lore, but I bought the 10th ed rulebook and the custodes codex and both claim all custodes are male, saying that "custodes fight valiantly hoping to one day have his name inscribed to the inside of his armor", and "the men of the custodes" I think gw is a money hungry greedy beast, but I think more often than not lore changes for political reasons that are made, are made by singular activists and then gw plays damage control.

"Female" Space Marines would basically be cases of forcing girls into turning into gigantic men. I don't know what is up with people wanting to use forced transitions as examples of representation.
Bridget from Guilry Gear had the same issue, now that character from Fear and Hunger 2 to a lesser degree is being called an icon of representation when they were both forced to transition.

I feel the need to say a few things;
First, hats off to you Endymion for being bigger than this and vouching for both sides. That is the Way. They are after all, part of the greater whole.
When I was a small kid, my family fell apart due to a courtcase relating to my step dad. I wont give details on that here.
During the questioning of this I had my first real exposure to a woke cultist. I had no idea of the significance of this but I knew something was very wrong with her eyes. I was a mere 7 year old and she was speaking to me in such a way that she believed me largely unaware of what was going on. She asked me questions which werent quite accurate but which could only yield certain responses. At that age I realised she was trying to paint my step dad in a certian light.
I also noticed the way my mums attitude was changed after each time she spoke with this case worker/lawyer.
I gave my best, subtle warning to my step dad about her. Something only a family member might catch.
As the years wore on I started seeing teachers turn up at school with this way of thinking. I started seeing politicians pandering to it. I've watched great stories written years ago bastardised with this new and hateful way of thinking.
I saw from an early age the glint in the eye behind the false smile. When Endymion says they hate their fans, he is being literal. (Even if you don't realise to which degree mate...)
Remember guys:
Its not just a story. Its not just a pass time. These are tales retold for thousands of years being changed. The worthy example being tarnished. The values and lessons muddied or forgotten.

I think a reason this is happening might be... big tech companies have always done a cycle of attrition on older employees and hire college grads then repeat. The idea was they can save money by constantly replacing employees. But now those new people they hire have been indoctrinated by recent education. These tech companies are drowning fast and can't stop it until they change how they approach holding onto senior employees.

All-male Space Marines have been a thing since the 2nd Edition, not since inception, and the reason was simple. The 1st Edition's Space Marines were normal mortal men and woman, not transhumans, but due to wargaming being an almost exclusively male hobby, no one was buying the female Space Marine models, so the line was pulled and the lore re-written. So go right on ahead GW, make female Space Marines, but don't come whining to those of us who made 40K what it is today when your sales collapse.
Besides they already have an all female faction anyway that are like space Marines, in the sense that Males can't go through the surgeries and hormone changes required without dying much like how women physically cannot go through the space marine surgeries. They already solved the "problem," when they made the space Marines all male and the SOB all female. The fact that the SOB are like assassin's and don't just brute force overpower their opponents but use guerilla tactics was something that was beloved as well, but I guarantee the women will be girlbossing dudes 4 times their size and throwing them around like they are weightless and have no strength to fight back..
There are 2 female only factions... the Sisters of Battle and the Sisters of Silence...
Though, unlike the Space Marines (which includes the Custodes) they aren't modified using the Gene Seed.
In understand that Space Marines are "iconic" but they aren't what a film or show should be based on. The Inquisitors would have been a much better option.

Our bodies need a specific hormone balance to function properly, based on our s-x and chromosomes, and giving it the wrong mix WILL lead to the body fighting itself constantly. Hey man, this started a long time before 2022. When they started at edition, they introduced a character named Bellisarious cawl. Before the introduction of that character, space marines would take on the genetic traits of their Primarch. for instance, there is a chapter named salamanders that had all black skin and red, glowing eyes. Even if you were a blonde haired blue-eyed person once you got the jeans seed from Vulcan, your Primark, you would be turned into a black man with glowing red eyes. So you had an entire army of similar looking marines. Once call came on the scene if you were a white man with blonde hair and blue eyes or a black man, you would stay that, after the transformation into a space marine. they’ve been changing stuff for a long time.
Salamanders aren't African black. They have coal black skin. But if you had facial structure like an European you'd remain like that, only your skin colour and eyes would change. You wouldn't become African.
