Looks great! I’ve been using your recipe for this at home for some time but I can’t replicate the smokey flavour that my local takeaway has.
Do you think that’s because I can’t get my wok hot enough? If so is there a home solution?

Chicken in black bean sauce is one of my favourite dishes but I love ginger in there. Not enough restaurants use ginger in the dish but it makes all the difference for me.
