Second, the refs didn't call a foul against LBJ in that situation because Giannis was already falling to the floor and out of control when he tried to just heave the ball up in the air to get an easy shooting foul call to bail him out. The refs did the right thing by not bailing him out for tripping and falling.

Hope he recovers quickly hate to see this stuff happen to him again, but he needs to learn how to land. Many of his injuries he lands awkwardly in an attempt to stay on his feet and he ends up getting hurt. Watch the Attention to Detail on D-Roses injuries many of these he just needs to fix his landing habits and it would help him a ton to stay healthy.

It's it me or is there a lot of players getting injured earlier in the season then usual, I hope that there won't be to many injuries this season.
I said it immediately after the replay that I was extremely surprised he didn't injure the ankle when he landed. It wasn't initially known whether he was injured because he was able to walk it off and it didn't come out till today that he is indeed on injured status. You could see it when he landed that the ankle buckled pretty violently and almost rolled completely over. It didn't roll over completely but it rolled over itself about half way probably. He's lucky he didn't end up like Gordon Hayward, because it could've happened with how much force was applied to that ankle and the angle in which it made contact with the floor.
Should've been a flagrant foul. The league needs consistency when it comes to these calls. The defender wrapped his arms around his neck and bumped him in mid flight. It doesn't matter whether that was the defenders intention. If you're going to call that a flagrant 9 times out of 10 for other players, then it needs to be 10 times out of 10 for ALL players, regardless of the situation in the game. If you put both arms across the attacking player's neck/shoulders from behind or make any kind of contact with their face, rule it a flagrant.
If you want my honest opinion, I think flagrant fouls are called TOO much. But the league isn't gonna be more lenient in terms of this kind of physicality so it's moot for me to bitch about it. The problem is consistency. If you're gonna call typical hard fouls flagrants, then be consistent about it. I just think the league has gotten a little too ticky tack with the foul calls, but I don't want to see guys getting injured needlessly either. I just grew up watching 90's era basketball and of course I miss the physicality of that era.

I had a seroius knee injury so i know his feelings, when you start to have your power back you feel you can go to the basket like you did before and you do it naturally, you jump on one leg and you Land on the same leg with no problems just if your body feels to do it, that's why he needed years and years to do that again, he is brave enough to try to play that way, but if he doesn't want problems the only thing to do is to stay on the perimeter
