    It would be greatly appreciated if you have other suggestions besides a bamboo pole something that’s in the common household not everyone has bamboo poles laying around

    How much did it weigh when it was finished and how well did it ultimately hold up?

      I just got one, and I weighed it.( I used jeans and shirts cut up to fill it) and it weighed 56lbs when I put it on the scale.. It's durable.. But it took a few hrs to fill. Probably 1 if you have someone helping you just cram it in there..

      Theres usually a zip up hole at the back covered under a velcro flap.
      *edit- apparently this one is laced, with the flap on the inside...
      I like that..

    When I get mine I'm not gonna cut the clothes and I'm not gonna use bamboo. I'm not gonna cut clothes because I want a heavy guy and also cutting the clothes leaves a mess so

    How can you make the dummy heavier?

    • @jendila
      @jendila  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hannan Malik this fabric dummy can hold upto 65 lb. if you use clothes it will about 65 lb ( largest 72” size). If you want your dummy heavier than that, then probably this is not a good option for you.

      Everyone thinks that it needs to be as heavy as a sparring partner but honestly you don't need it to be really heavy. I have their first version of this grappling dummy. I filled it up with just shredded clothes. I can tell you from my experience that it is a good weight for solo training jiu jitsu.

      @@chrisblanchard4938 How you liking it? I just bought the hinge shoulder one like you have. I did like 30hrs of research to finally pull the trigger. lol. This one seems more durable then others I've seen online. Now just gotta wait for the mailman...

    • @chrisblanchard4938
      @chrisblanchard4938 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Edwin Morrow it’s awesome. You will like it. I have seen ones where the shoulders break off. Shouldn’t have a problem with this one the way they designed the shoulder. I like the material they used. It should hold up well and like you I did my research and this seemed like a great deal.

    Nice! How many lbs of ripped clothes did you have to use to stuff that dummy? You didn't need to re-enforce with pvc pipe for the skeleton like some have been using? How are the seams of the dummy? Do they rip easy?

    • @jendila
      @jendila  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was 66” size & we used about 60 lb clothes. You can use PVC but In my opinion it’ll be very hard to push with PVC & it shape may not look proper. It is all depend on person preferences. either way if you don’t fill tightly you’ll have to refill after few usages. Seams are pretty strong & most sides are triple stitched. However, the current model on Amazon is for medium use only. We are launching the new model next week, where you can use extensive force on it.

    Can you fill with sand?

    • @jendila

      Ryan Raza no you cannot. This canvas (fabric) can hold upto 85 lb & sand is too heavy for this type of material

    If my dummy has wrinkles, does it mean its not filled tight enough?

    • @jendila
      @jendila  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Elijah os it is depend on how you are filling. You need to press every time you put some filler. That way you will have less wrinkles. Btw wrinkles means you pushed more on one side than the other or if you are filling with clothes those pieces are too big or you did not press each time you put slot in it etc. If you use polyfil (polyester) into the joint area like in knees, arm etc, it will be more satisfying.

    • @jendila
      @jendila  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Elijah os also knee area is sensitive. Try not to push too hard
