one of the main things i like about this series, the fact the human's perspective is still great even though they aren't the main protagonists

Honestly one of the main things I like about this series is that the spider's perspective is so interesting that it makes up for the human perspective not being so much so... and by the time the human perspective catches up you already know what's truly going on, thanks to the spider.

@Abyssal Hearts sure it is boring (sometimes) but its important to kumokos growth. we learn a lot about kumoko while seeing the human POV.

This is the first anime that made me read the LN after watching episode one. I must say, Okina Baba is a genius with his writing especially in how he structures the story.
Looking forward to the season which I presume is going to adapt up until volume 4.
is more likely to be 5. Datamines of the website revealed episode tittles up to ep 5 and ep 5 is Vol 2 so they are going like 1 volume each 4 episodes but we have to take into account that 4 and 5 are more packed up in content so i would say those two need 6 episodes.
So 3 volumes in 12 episodes for first cour most likely and then the other 12 will be vol 4 and 5.

Not defending the ripoff statements but explaining the similar statements. Thats because of the similarities at first glance even in the first episodes of the two anime’s are similar so it makes sense. The novels Im sure different greatly but there are some similarities that make sense as to why people would compare the two in the anime

-MC being a nerd in past life
-Getting born in a cave with monsters
-having fun learning new abilities
-voice talking to them explaining their skills
-both being small and energetic
-both struggling to stay alive for a while.
-both quickly adjusting to their new body.

Being small and energetic: that’s still small compared to a human. Not in measurement I mean comparatively to humans. You can be energetic and introverted. (I am too it’s not that uncommon in reality)
Struggles for a while: once again I said this is an anime episode 1 comparison.
Gets used to new body: I mean how she can walk easily and use webs easy.
Those are what I mean.
Having fun learning new abilities: I meant her excitement at first with appraisal and excitement to have game skills at first.

I'm still amazed at how many isekais or fantasy stories feel like they're represented in the LN. Newest volumes have given us basically a Goblin Slayer or Reverse-Goblin Slayer. I hope the anime adaptation works out, but no matter what the LNs are just gold. You can read them 3-4 times over and find something new and interesting when you look at it in hindsight. Really recommend you guys reading the Light Novels.

Info fro those that like this anime and want to know how it all ends. The last volume of the light novel was printed as a book about 4 months ago. So the ending is has been reached, and this 24 episode anime is just the first 5 volumes of the 16 volume long light novel. It gets so much interesting later on
Apparently the ending was pretty rushed or disappointing, is that true? I read up on some spoilers after finishing the anime today, and wow they set up some massive twists incredibly well.

100% best anime this season, It has destroyed anything else this season, now I'm waiting for my light novels to be delivered haha. I hope they don't end this at a single season.

@@nicosnow3582 just after the shot of sophia at 1:24, you can see a character with white hair opening her eyes, and there are four "eyes" in each eye, to a total of eight. that's how you can know.

Can we talk about how Redo Healer has a higher rating then Kumo desu right now? How trash can anime mainstream fans get? EDIT: small update, we are higher now
on top of that redo of the healer quality was much worse. Like man was it painfull to look at the animation and how choppy it felt. Also there was 0 entertaining parts like nothing interesting, nothing funny just nothing it was a completely empty first episode.
Spider at least was bein very funny.
Same thing with Mushoku Tensei literally the only good thing MT has is the animation

2021 anime of the year????? It's still early I know but DAMN did you guys do the light novel justice so far with the quality so far bringing it to life as the anime (24 episodes is a lil short considering how much there is to the story I hope it transfers to anime well.
