I read the first Lobster one a while ago. That's the only author of these three that I don't have access to through Hoopla. Disappointing that the best one is the one that's not available!

Yeah, I ended up having to get it on audible. I didn't have to use a credit because I think it was a free one since I have Amazon prime. Hoopla usually has all the cozies, so I was surprised they didn't!

I enjoy the Book Resort Series, but I don't thinik it's Ellery Adams' best series. The Secret Book and Scone Society is the one I enjoy the most.

I gave the first book in the Bookmobile Cat series 3 stars and it was just ok for me too. I gave the second book a try and the rest of the series have been 5 stars for me. One of the killer reveals in this series had me shocked and almost running off the road in my car. Needless to say, I don't listen to audiobooks in the car anymore. After this experience, if I like the themes of the series (cat and library are two my favorite themes) I almost always try the second book in a series that I give 3 stars. I've found that some of the first books are the weakest in the series. The newest book in the series comes out at the beginning of August and I can't wait! I have a Crumbl Cookie in my town but I'm not really impressed with them overall. I rather eat a cookie I bake on my own. I've tried a few Ellery Adams series (Charmed Pies and Secret Book and Scone) but ended up DNFing them. I think her writing style just isn't for me. I can't wait to see your Christmas Cozy Vlog!
