Engine Teardown - Brat Style Honda CB125 Motor Disassembly

Today is a short and sweet look at breaking down a 1975 Honda CB125S engine - removing the top end and more in order to give the whole motor a deep clean and prepare to repaint it. We're not getting into paint today, but this video is a deep dive on how to break a 70's Honda single down.
This CB125S is a long term project here in the shop, and it's on the home stretch. Look for it's completion soon!
Since this is such a quick video I whipped up a neat little intro. Feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this camera thing!

Thank you so much for this video, very useful! My only slight complaint about your videos are that i prefer to just listen to the natural sound or play my own music whilst I watch tutorials, so you might be able to save yourself a lot of effort by not mixing in the music, if others are also like me that is. I'm going to attempt my first ever top end rebuild/just opening it up to look at what might be wrong with it, on a cb100n, so this video was really helpful in knowing what to expect. Thanks so much 🙏

I started this channel knowing very little about filming and editing, and I've learned a lot in the years since - particularly about capturing quality audio. I used to cover up bad audio with music. I'd suggest you track down a factory service manual from Honda. PDF versions can be found online!
