It was great to hear your story, and how things have changed for the better over time. We're happy to hear how much better you're feeling. We think this is both a really nice introduction, and a twin reminder; both that life and how you feel about it can significantly improve and that companionship and being understood can catalyze that improvement. Some of the writers in our system also definitely empathize with, in their words "feeling like you can write again after having that ambition clouded for so long".

No clue who was watching this but I came out when you started mentioning persecutors. Hi, Oak. Thanks dude. It's fing tough. I don't have anyone to talk to in here. One, sometimes. Even the ones who used to love me are still being twisted against me despite me working to turn over a new leaf. They seem to think they know why I did what I did and they couldn't tolerate it that way, so they had to isolate me. They miss the point entirely and refuse to understand it from my point of view.
Do I get to be happy? I haven't gotten to know 'me' yet to know much. The only joy I have known since they started toward 'healing' is the rare chance I get to talk with a like-soul. This isn't my body, isn't my life. I have the least claim to it than any of them, so they think. But I've been here since the start. They know but can't seem to process that I am them as much as they are me. Maybe to admit that would be to admit there's darkness in here, darkness in every human.
I thought I'd never get to speak with M again. She gives me more grace than any of them now, and yet she suffers their judgment too. Maybe I should reach out more. -N

We're having communication issues in our system between "persecutor" types and the rest, and are trying to figure that out. It's comforting to hear you were able to work things out with the others, and that you're happy. Hoping we can get there too someday.

something that makes me happy is someone v special to me. she's patient and understanding of us, though she's not plural. many people don't like me much/assume i don't like them, but it's a misunderstanding of trying to protect the system that leads to this. she is probably the first person that hasn't seen me as a bad person, which helped me accept myself as not a bad person, too. used to think i was a persecutor but i'm just a straight forward protector w a big heart for our syskids and my special girl 🖤
