It's a good overall bike. I took mine to touratech rally, in mud, huge rocks, sand, and gravel. And with the right tires, it does just fine. But it has a hard time doing single track due to it being so low to the ground.
I've had many bikes....vulcan s, versys 650, yamaha bolt, z1000, gsxr750, mt09, mt10 and an r6 track bike. For some reason, this bike was my favourite and i want one again. The r6 was really fun, but only for the track. The bolt was interesting and unique woth the aircooled engine and had a lot of character. Apperantly the versys 1000 had the bigger engine but doesn't have the same appeal as the versys 650 ! I haven't had one but I have had the bigger engine in the z1000.
you’re right I too have had faster bikes, ZX 14 and GSX 1000 but for some reason, this one sticks out and I just bought my 18th bike. It’s not that it’s fast. It’s just that it’s sort of all comes together in an unforgettable way. I agree with you there’s something weird about it, but it’s good.
@@tgmotorider.narratinglifeo3480 yes! My friends tease me when I bring it up but they're all still cool dads and won't be seen on a bike like a versys. Who has ridden many understands how it just works haha.
Unlike having to get my Rebel CMX1100 DCT to the main road after having to navigate 1/3 of a mile of all gravel while almost having to wear diapers every time I want to take a ride!!! And of course, getting back to my house is no fun either! I told the wife that I might put a Port-A-Potty at the end of the driveway where it meets the road!! I gotta move. 🤔 👍
I do love mine!

Love my 2018 versys, have had it for about 2 months now took it up a pretty rough mountain gravel road today and it did pretty freaking well.
Nice!!

Lol ! Yeah definitely hard to stand up on the pegs on a rebel 1100. Thank you for watching.
You’re so right, I tried it a couple of times and it didn’t work out! Also, I’ve been a subscriber for quite some time now. 👍
Thank you for the video. Love the highway pegs. Can you please share where did you get them?
They were on there when I bought it. They are awesone. Thanks for watching
