- Indulge in a blast from the past as you watch my personal collection of vintage commercials sourced straight from my collection of crusty dusty VHS tapes.

Tommy and the Order of Cosmic Champions
TOMMY AND THE ORDER OF COSMIC CHAMPIONS by Anthony D. Grate and Anthony J. Rapino is a well-told coming-of-age story within a shiny wrapping of 1980s nostalgia.

Maybe it's just me being American, and use to American things, but watching Canadian commericals feels like I've done a slide into an alternate dimension where things are just different enough to be off putting, while still being familiar, but not fully noticable if I was not fully paying attention just trying to get through my day. 😅 As always thanks for the upload Dave. 😊✌
I just want to say, that this American loves Canada, including its commercials ❤️🇨🇦
Same as a fellow American. 🇨🇦❤🍁
Same ❤

Triumph FTW!!!!
Michael Ironside @ 1:44
Triumph is criminally underrated. Good band. 🤘
I thought that was Michael 😂
Swapping to Wisk immediately.
Interesting, the Pepsi ad with Triumph. My high?school in Scarberia got a lot of bands. Oh look Rush is here, again. So many bands. The last one ever to play there was Triumph. The school smelled like smoke from the flash pot that started the curtains on fire. Didn't really amount to much but that was the end of live bands at that school.
Take off eh? Nice to see ya around the TH-cams Dave ✌️📼🧈🦭🍻🔥
8:18 - Contac C - with Paul Chato & Peter Wildman, of The Frantics ("Boot to the Head"). Peter was also the stoner pilot, on "The Red Green Show".
A break from norm and take a look at commercials from the great white north!
Dave’s always giving us somthing different from the past , but this time he’s giving a block from our friends from Canada 🇨🇦!
Great upload Dave !
Stay Retro !
😎📼🥃🍁🇨🇦
I don't recognize many of these brands. But these are still nostalgic to an American like me.
8:17 - Contac C - with Paul Chato & Peter Wildman, of The Frantics ("Boot to the Head"). Peter also played the hippie bush-pilot on "The Red Green Show".
I think the characters name was Buzz Sherwood.
Thanks for the beautiful memories!💯😮💥👍!
Love the Canadian adverts on this channel.
The Wisk commercial has Michael Ironside from Scanners in it. Was waiting for him to make my head explode like a watermelon.
Great quality video... thanks!!
Granola dips were BIG in the Degrassi High series
Very cool find, Dave!
Never thought I'd ever see Michael Ironside in a laundry soap commercial.
Interesting gonna need some japan
The Wayne Williams story. I lived through that era growing up in Atlanta. Scary times.
I've been to Canada and this is accurate
✌🏾DAVE'S
My gosh that's thick. Perfect ending Dave
Hmm, Canadian 80s. This should be interesting.
Never heard of a Texaco where you can buy bath towels.
It's funny that 80s hair wasn't just an America thing.
80s hair was an amazing phenomenon. lol
How cool it is to see some Canadian retro commercials, thanks Dave!
its great!but there is volume 1?
I recognized 3 commercials! Minute Maid OJ, Quaker Dips, and Meow Mix. Basically, 80s Canada was as cringey as 80s USA 😊
She kissed his stuffy germy nose 😂 ( otrivin commercial)

Death by diarrhea
Seeing MIchael Ironside in a detergent commercial was wild.
