6 of which are clearly weaker. The easy way was making new cards to sell you than to address why Maxx C was good in the first place. It's clear that Konami thinks mass special summoning is insane, but rather than a hard cap, they are going to continue to make new cards (likely hundreds of dollars) to make it have some sort of a trade off. That's the deal for not having lands or mana now. You can go off as hard as you want, but your opponent might draw an out.
Maxx 4 is called Multchummy Coinorma and draws a card whenever your opponent flips a coin (including to decide who's going first). Source: My uncle works at Konami
In some messed up way I kinda like this, the game no longer runs around who plays the strongest deck but whoever get to draw Maxx C or more Maxx C’s than the opponent

It makes it beat Maxx c in the fact that if you draw two of it and one gets negated then the other isn't just useless. It only beats Maxx c in that aspect though, Maxx c is still better.

You want to buff going second? Balanced: the player going second draws a second card in the draw phase. Cooked: Instead of drawing you can add one card from your deck to your hand during the draw phase of the second turn
Can't wait for it to become a full archetype with a fieldspell that allows to use them, even if you control cards. Then maybe we will get something like mellfy pinny for this deck, so we can make mulchummy extra deck monsters on our opponents turn. Mulchummy tier 0 will be the future of yugioh, trust me guys.
No, it's not ridiculous to draw for special summon from main+ED. What IS ridiculous is the negate boards that stop you from playing at all. Those SHOULD be punished with cards like this.
I'm just glad we're finally getting any version of Maxx "C" that matters in the TCG! Things like Ty Phon and Zeus just don't matter against most endboards these days, if you can even get to Zeus in the first place.
Honestly the card is good but it’s only side deck mainly but rn we are going to into a meta where hand traps aren’t enough board breakers aren’t enough so you need something big to help going second. More typhon and eccelsia aren’t gonna work so cards like these are necessary for the game going forward, cause it’s either cards like this or more different dark rulers and evenly or worse case scenario more floodgate handtraps like shifter
I think this is good. This card fixes Maxx C in the ways that are most important - you can't keep all the cards you draw, and you can't use this turn 2 after setting up your board turn 1.
the shuffle back "downside" will usually be irrelevant. chances are you'll be drawing into handtraps that you'll be able to use to further stop your opponent's plays
I think out of all the yugitubers I've seen so far, Joshua had the closest and most sober reaction I had to this new card. I genuinely wish they separated extra and main deck on 2 different cards, but I still genuinely feel this card will not be in every single main deck like all the other shell shocked content creators are terrified about.
Weirdly enough, isn't this a buff to Snow? You play this, use a bunch of hand traps to fill your grave before your turn. It's going to be even easier to get multiple Snow summons to link climb and break boards.
Bet you anything after all of these Maxx Cs, they're going to get 3 boss monsters: Tribute all of your opponent's Monsters, Tribute all of your opponent's Spell/Traps, and Tribute your opponent's GY by banishing them all facedown. Then Konami is going to flip us off and say, "Do you still wanna go first?"
I just realized if you have two of these in hand going second you can eat an ash blossom and still resolve the second copy since it has a conditional twice per turn. Might not come up a lot but that is very... Funny? Horrifying? Potentially infuriating? Take your pick. EDIT: WAIT YOU CAN ALSO CHAIN IT TO CALLED BY AND CROSSOUT TO DODGE THOSE EFFECTS AS WELL POTENTIALLY FORCING OUT TWO POINTS OF INTERACTION OH GOD

I have an opinion about this card, as it is the second name to an archetype. When Gizmeck was being dripped in set after set, which it then became a deck. I wonder if the Mulcharmy cards will have there own playable deck, in which the monsters you draw into can be special summoned if they were drawn by a card effect

@@AstralLaVista OCG won't ban Maxx C. They would have to ban a ton of cards and they have already shown how hesitant they are to ban cards if they can help it. They rather hit consistency than ban to keep players playing the OCG
Since Mulchummy is an archetype, im guessing somewhere in the future there's gonna be an extra deck Mulchummy that's draws you cards every time your opponent special summons just saying

This was someone's else idea i read. They suggested for the player going 2nd to draw 6 at the start of the duel but skip their first draw phase. Not sure how much help it would be, but I quite like it.
It is fine tho. People complain going 2nd is too weak but also complain about any cards that make going second stronger. Fenrir too strong, Tenpai field spell too strong, Mulcharmy too strong. Like if SE decks can setup 5+ interruption even through 1 or 2 handtraps then you'd need something to halt them a bit without giving them a benefit as well.
Konami should make it to where you have to have the same number of normal monsters as you do affect monsters. And the normal monsters are not allowed to have the same attack and defense. What I mean by this is you can only have three monsters in 2000 attack for level four or lower monsters. And etcetera.

Fuck this game like wtf are you supposed to do at this point open called by ash and crossout every time or lose, i am done konami ruined this game beyond repair. You now need to have 6 spots for counters and then 9 spots for 3 maxx c cards and the worst thing is negating maxx c is not a option anymore because there is more maxx c than counters. Either play stun or have the most miserable experience in the game ever.
I'm guessing Konami is trying to bring back bricking your deck by allowing everyone to conditionally draw into cards. At the end of the day these are just poor man's Maxx c. And none of them can be used with it unless you feel like tossing your hand back in the deck. In the back of my mind I just want to say limit POG and Graceful at this point. They're less harmful to the game aside from not having once per turn clauses.
I would probably be ok with this card if it included a downside for your opponent just passing with no cards on field after you activate this. Maybe you have to shuffle a random card in hand back, maybe your own plays are restricted in some way. Something like that
I think i get what Konami is doing. They're going to make enough of these so that we have 40 "copies" of Maxx C, then we'll just play only that. Ingenious, truly ingenious.
Maxx Three counting Main an ED is dumb if we had 4 (one for each location) I think they'd actually be fine especially the ED chummy since it only targets ED spamm sure it still fucks up Salad for no real reason but Heatleo pass means they actually have to shuffle back cards :)

That's what the "If you control no cards" clause is for. In most cases this will just mean that only if youre going second can you draw
The problem with those cards is that it gives Konami an excuse to make busted decks.
