the fact that it's so realistic. they didnt leave anything out or make anything light hearted during her time of fear. i. am. bawling. 😀
Thats not completly true. The producers left some details out because it was too brutal or disturbing. She didnt for example bite on her finger and put her blood in the killers car she put her tampon out and put it undef the seat. Or her grandmother sometimes watched the sexual assault of her boyfriend and some days before she wanted to take her life he planned to get a child with her. So some details were changed but all in all it was a great movie and the performance of the main character was outstanding.

Katie Douglas did a great job on this role, just watched the movie. It was really well made. Lisa McVoy is defo my inspiration, the way she made sure he was caught, her bravery, the way she turned her life around and became a cop. It gives me hope as a victim of rape (4x by the same guy when I was 15) and sexual assault (2 weeks ago :(, I'm 22) as well.
