Caution to anyone using ventilation seats in the summertime When you feel the need to pass gas, get out of the car or turn off the ventilation fan, or else fart smells will be amplified 10 fold and it will backfire! I learned the hard way when I released one after Taco Bell and also had someone sitting on the passenger side let one go.🥵😷🤣🤣

I'm glad I got a car with comfort seats and ventilation from the factory. Was thinking about the massage function, but from seeing reviews (including this video) I will not be looking into getting those.

My 2016 f10 535x has the massaging seats and ventilated seats. Literally the only feature missing for me is night vision I couldn’t find it anywhere

Hey I know this video was made 2 years ago but if anyone could help me it'd be really appreciated. What are y'all looking up to find seats that are also ventilated? I have a 2016 BMW 528xi and my back sweats a lot now that we're getting to the Summer months, I was really hoping to maybe get new seats that support ventilation instead of just heating to prevent my back from sweating so much. Anyways hope whoever is reading this has a good day.
Great job! I have one question: the plastic brackets on sliding tracks…I am having a hard time installing them back on…do you just have to slide them back or do you have to ”open up” the tabs under?
Hey I have a question, if my car is on drive and when I step on the accelerator it doesn't move what does that mean? Could it be like a computer problem or could it just be the transmission?
If I’m coming from standard base memory seats and retrofitting active, comfort, ventilation, massage, and heating sport seats can I just swap the control modules so that I won’t have any lights and not have to do all this coding and I just won’t have all the functions the new seats have. Or will I still have to swap the modules and do the coding. Orrr will I just have to swap the seats without swapping modules and just code everything. I’m just trying to stay away from having lights on the dash and having to do coding.

Hi I have standard seats (not memory and part electric), would I need to put in wiring for the buttons on the door cards and get new door cards as well?
I have a (G11) 750i with all 4 active seats, but the massage feature doesn’t work on. None of the buttons on the doors nor the back center arm rest controls light up green. The main touchscreen in the front where you access the massage options, have the drop down menu but won’t let you choose it or make it active. Any ideas? Coding issue?

So i have the ventilated seats but not massaging, If i just get the switch for the door and do the programing will that feature work or is it a totally different seat?

I was just reading that the comfort seats with ventilation are stiffer than the non-ventilated comfort seats. Have you noticed this?
I have! The non-ventilated comfort seats are less stiff!

Not too bad but definitely a little
@@EvanGoyuk thanks. I test drove a 528i xdrive today with the ventilated seats. I loved all the adjustments, but they were oddly firm at the same time.
