Thats the point....the Scorpions are a very eclectic band. There are some pretty heavy songs on EyeIIEye but its not necessarily a "rock" album if thats what you're looking for. Still a great album from a great band.
Plus, music fundamentally changed here in the States (for the worse) and so you cant blame the band for wanting to try to reconnect with this market especially with the success they have in Japan and Europe.
Daniel Guinea I thought to be no 1 was a joke and I totally got that it was not supposed to be taken seriously.... but songs like Priscilla and What you give, we're garbage. This album was their second worst but at least had Aleyah and Du Bist So Schmutzig which were ok. Face the Heat was a worse album. Really nothing to listen to twice on Face the Heat.

Same goes for Unbreakable 04 and Pure Instinct 95....now of the more recent albums Humanity: Hour I is damn good.
