I guess it was just a makeover. They actually change a few things. For example, in Dream Team, the brothers' mustaches are deep black while the color of their hair brightened, and the logos on their hats aren't black anymore. In Paper Jam, both their hair color and mustaches become the same lighter brown. And, of course, no more socks. ;-;

I love this series to death, these themes are all so good! My list from favorite to least favorite: 1.Never Let Up 2.Big Bang 3.Tough Guy Alert! 4.Size Up Your Enemy 5.Papercraft Battle 6.Come on! 7.The Giant 8.Crisis of Red and Green Dream Team, Paper Jam, and Bowser's Inside Story's themes carry the series's jaunty soul on their shoulders showing both a uniquely charming, zany side and a darker, more serious and somber side. Size Up Your Enemy and The Giant slow the typically fast-paced battle music down a notch to note the battle's new-found grandeur and epic scale, though Dream Team pulled it off better in my opinion. Papercraft Battle is a bit unique in its cheerier tone, but with the whimsical nature of Paper Jam and the game's affinity for larger orchestral arrangements, the scale of the fight is apparent, and it's done pretty darn well to boot. The original, Come On! So catchy and memorable, but a tad too simplistic to keep up with the modern games' themes, in my opinion. You still gotta love it, though. Crisis of Red and Green pulled off the alien vibe thanks to its heavy beats and vibrant interjections, which lent itself to the game quite well. It's a step between the length of Come On! and Tough Guy Alert, but with the ever so slight short-comings of Superstar Saga's audio. Still an iconic piece being only the second Boss Battle Theme, and it earns some respect for that.

Man....The first time I got dream team was my b-day. I loved my uncle for my new 2-DS. I played all day and all night. I loved how long it was cause the others in the series were to short.

Love all of them. It is quite interesting how Bowser's Inside Story and Dream Team manage to get the hang of their rather unusual themes in the appropriate musics (inside Bowser/dreaming) pretty well.

dream team will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart, because it was the first game in the series I played, then bowser's inside story, there were some very infuriating moments (fawful express, giga carrot, etc) but i still loved it, then superstar saga, the first game in the series, im still working on the wii u vc version (no gba), little fungitown if you were wondering, then paper jam, see i played and loved sticker star (first paper mario game i played, bite me) and the fact they added paper mario to the mix was phenomenal to me, that leaves partners in time, playing the wii u vc version (no physical cart) i can say that the game would be best enjoyed on a physical ds/3ds, but other than that, my favorite themes in order from best to least favorite are: never let up, size up your enemy, big bang!, crisis of red and green, tough guy alert, the giant, come on! again, papercraft.
OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE- I can't believe somebody else, a) played Dream Team for their first M&L game and b) played STICKER STAR AS THEIR FIRST PAPER MARIO AND LOVED IT that's what happened to me! Dream Team will always hold such a special place in my heart, it's my first and favorite, and I loved Sticker Star! It was technically my first Mario rpg XD So naturally when Paper Jam was announced I LOST MY CRAP cuz it was like my favorite Mario franchises coming together Owo I got it as soon as I could, like a week after it came out, and beat it in about a week or so 😆 Unfortunately I didn't get to play Bowser's Inside Story until like 2 years later but better late than never! Found it in a GameStop, I got the og cartriage! Easily became my 2nd fave M&L. I played some of Superstar Saga and Partners in Time on an emulator on my phone for a bit last year but that was obviously uncomfortable and now I am currently waiting for both games to show up in the mail, can't wait to play 'em properly! Hopefully one day I'll get the remakes so I can have and compare them all! :3

Yeah I like how both are crossovers with other Marios. Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and Paper Mario. I can see why they didn't put Paper Luigi in "Mario and Luigi Paper Jam". Nintendo must have thought that dodging with 4 characters would be insane since 3 is kinda hard already compared to 2. Plus Paper Luigi talks unlike Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario. :)
+Alleywr Have to agree, In The Final particularly. I don't get what people like about fawful either, he's a great villain, but all he really does for comedy is make food jokes, which aren't funny more often than not.
I haven't the chance to play Dream Team, and the boss battle sounds light-hearted a little but still pretty awesome. Now I need to buy a copy for myself! And for that matter, Paper Jam, too.
After reading a couple of comments, I'm seriously baffled as to how people can hate "The Giant" (Giant Bowser Battle theme). Does no one else fucking love the menacing organ(?) bit that plays from 7:05 to 7:21??? If so, how? Why? That bit of the song always sends chills up my spine.

Yeah I like how both are crossovers with other Marios. Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and Paper Mario. I can see why they didn't put Paper Luigi in "Mario and Luigi Paper Jam". Nintendo must have thought that dodging with 4 characters would be insane since 3 is kinda hard already compared to 2. Plus Paper Luigi talks unlike Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario. :)
+B- Bum yeah I don't think they dodged with 4 characters in Partners in time, or if they did it was rare.
I like pit but hated pj but my fav has to be ss, bis, or dt
***** yeah It wasn't hard either, I beat dry bowser with Mario and Luigi at lv 39 and Paper Mario at lv 38 and the recommended level was 50 lol

Dream Team’s music will never not amaze me. I have a playlist for some of the songs in this sub series, and dream team takes up the most space
I haven't the chance to play Dream Team, and the boss battle sounds light-hearted a little but still pretty awesome. Now I need to buy a copy for myself!
And for that matter, Paper Jam, too.
I liked DTs Boss Track the most.That game has the best OST anyways.
BIS has the best boss themes the normal boss theme is more playful but giant bowser theme is pretty serious,bowser REALLY wants his castle back

After reading a couple of comments, I'm seriously baffled as to how people can hate "The Giant" (Giant Bowser Battle theme). Does no one else fucking love the menacing organ(?) bit that plays from 7:05 to 7:21??? If so, how? Why? That bit of the song always sends chills up my spine.
So, no one is going to mention The Final Antasma Battle Boss Theme from Dream Team? Wow. And that theme is awesome ,too!

Come On, Again!: 8/10 (5- Must... DANCE!! OwO It's awesome but pretty weak compared to the others)
Crisis Of Red and Green: 8.5/10 (4- Gets me hyped! >w< But like SS, doesn't give me the vibes the next 3 do..)
They're Pretty Tough, Should We Be Careful?!: 9/10 (3- Such a catchy song!! :D ..Long name tho XD But yeah it truly is an experience listening while battling!)
The Giant: 5/10 (8..- Least favorite Giant music; also last on list :c It's just so slow and boring, there's nothing going on for me :/)
Never Let Up!: 10/10 (1!- My favorite! This can never be beat, no matter what I always find myself loving this tune more than the rest.. it's just magical to me, or should I say _dreamy?_ uwu)
Size Up Your Enemy: 8/10 (6- Favorite Giant music! Stand and fight, Luigi! >:D)
Big Bang!: 9.5/10 (2- This one's my Jam! ;3 A very close 2nd!)
Paper Craft: 7/10 (7- Really unique and matches the scenario, but you'd understand why it's so low right? ^^)
In short, I love them all, but the last 3 games are just the best in my opinion! -Well except The Giant for Bowser lol- The soundtracks are absolutely phanomenal in all the games but there's just something special about the last 3, y'know? :0

verdad cual es tu opinion sobre paper jam?
No lo e jugado ya que sale hasta el 22 de Enero, por eso solo e echo 4 videos...
En si hasta ahora me gusta que esta lleno de referencias a viejos juegos de M&L y imagino tambien de Paper Mario, aparte me gusta el nuevo estilo de combate de este (En si adoro que cada juegod e M&L tiene un modo de juego diferente.)
Espero no me desepcione por que hasta ahora en Musica ya se gano mi aprobacion 10/10 pero aun falta GamePlay, Historia y Dificultad.
