My favorite battle intro will always be the original Bowser’s Inside Story, because when Mario said “Let’s a go!” His voice was so loud and powerful, that it made me feel so determined every time I stomped on an enemy or faced a boss.
Ironically, Bowser's inside story is my favorite game but my favorite battle theme is from Superstar saga

Victory in the Dream World is so freaking good. I feel like alpha dream made the dream version first and then thought, "wow, I think we'll downgrade this for the real world version"

@@OrionAltHist I know that, but in the sidemode for the Paper Jam remake you play as Paper Luigi and he has a much more of a bigger role unlike the original game where he was a cameo in the music option after beating the game.
Partners in time is my favorite of the bunch love the battle theme, the use of 4 players and the story's plot. The only thing I wish they had in that game was the cries of one of the older bros when the other one faints like in Bowser's inside story.

I absolutely adore 13:53. Mario&Luigi, dream team was the first RPG I ever played, and this theme will always be super memorable to me.
I actively avoided battles, because compared to my Luigi, Mario... was not as good. but whenever I got into a battle, I wouldn't always try to instantly end it. THIS is why.

Some missions in the game require you to look for toads in a time limit of TWENTY MINUTES
The game feels really quickly repetitive compared to other Mario&Luigi, the patterns are really weird to avoid and trust me, having to control 3 characters at once feels horrible
But the game still has a lot of charm ! It's just too bad that it isn't fun to play

First of all, you're free to like the game. Hell, I don't have any issues believing that you enjoyed the game ! It's just that I didn't.
Second, yes, the toad missions are fine difficulty-wise but long and boring, that was my point
Paper Jam doesn't really have what I like in a M&L game, WHICH IS WHY most people compare it to the previous games. It's a serie. That's the point.
PJ was, to most and that includes me, a very underwhelming game that came out during the worst Paper Mario era.
It tried to do some cool stuff, I acknowledge it, but it's just not as well made as before.
To me, Paper Jam is to Mario&Luigi what Tokyo Mirage Sessions is to Shin Megami Tensei.
A game that has its solid fanbase, but ends up an underwhelming crossover that doesn't manage to mix both franchises in any truly coherent way.
I wished for Paper Jam to be one of the best games. But whenever I'm playing it, I'd always just rather play Bowser's Inside Story or Partners in Time again
(It truly doesn't help that all Nintendo was doing at the time was resetting already made assets for the 3Ds)

4. Partners in Time I sucked at it I couldn’t defeat the final boss and I personally just didn’t like the story as much as the others better story than paper jam tho but I really liked the inclusion of the baby bro’s that was really nice
3. Superstar saga just great game overall amazing soundtrack great addition with bro’s attacks the OG and nothing u can really hate on the game for besides the difficulty of learning how to do bro’s attacks that sucked
