Not a bad idea, the more items that’s packed into the space underneath sink can unfortunately increase the chances of damaged plumbing.

Can I continue to use the dishwasher if it's the pump that is making the noise??? Like will it fail / leak? I ordered the part but it won't be here for several days.

Thanks for watching, that will be personal preference. If the motor is indeed the issue, it will continue to degrade until ultimately failing and no longer work. Looking forward to hearing back from you on how the new motor works.

I paid $65.00 for a 11 year old dishwasher almost 15 years ago. Tonight it started making loud noises and when I checked inside there was no water in there? Would you bother trying to fix? I don’t think I’m going to.

Mine is Beko dishwater dsfn 4630w model. So the problem is even befor I start the dishwasher I hear the buzzing /humming sound as I soon as I close the door. I don’t see water coming in. No movement of anything. Do you know the cause? 😢

Thanks for watching, it’s likely that your water inlet valve is in its early stages of failure.

Thanks for watching, any update? Depending on your specific machine, you may be able to carefully remove plastic drain vent/screen for cleaning.
Not all machines grant you this option.

Thanks for watching, great question. The water will be introduced into the machine via the water inlet valve.
Below is a video that shows replacement of water inlet valve. Although this will not be your issue since you are getting water, it will give you better closeup views of the valve itself.
