Iron Maiden Mini Montage! Melbourne Friday 6th September 2024

Geez I LOVE Iron Maiden. They've been with me since my early teens when I first started copying the album artwork before discovering their music (1987). My walls were filled with posters. I had scrap-books filled with articles and photos and a massive fanboy vinyl collection. At 49 years old, once again I stood in front of my childhood hero's as they belted out another amazing show at Rod Laver last night. With my older brother by my side, up the front, we sang, screamed and hugged through a classic setlist of Somewhere in Time era (and more) songs. Admittedly i teared up a little during the song 'Alexander the Great' (a lifelong favourite they've never played on stage until this tour).... The crowd were a mixture of generations old and new but the smiles all told the same story. Massive respect for these legends of British Heavy Metal! I'm one happy teenager all over again!! Up the Irons!!
This video is mainly Adrian Smith and Dave Murray!! Adrian is an AMAZING player and melodic soul of the Iron Maiden sound. Enjoy
