OMG what a packed vlog this week. Love that strawberry material. Hopefully the job will continue to be what you want it to be; it sounds as though they are very lucky to have found you 👏🤗 🍓
Congrats on the new job 😊 Loving the crafty videos. There’s so much choice in the shop, but there was a really pretty floral fabric you pointed out in your other video that I loved and would make something with
I’m so pleased about your job news! Sounds like it’s so good for you ❤ also my sewing machine is out, new threads are on the birthday list! I’d defo make something with that sunflowery patterned fabric 😍 I don’t know if Ive misunderstood your sewing machine cable issue but I think the lead can unplug from the machine is that helps you thread it through the cupboard 😊
Congratulations on the new job!! So well deserved 😊 Would you be able to provide some tips (either by replying to this post or via TH-cam video) on how you structured your resume and your portfolio and whatever else you did to send in to the job that you'd applied for. I'm in a similar position where I'm a graphic desire but I've only done freelance work and I haven't worked for any companies to put on my resume and I'm having a really hard time even getting noticed by companies and I'm having zero callbacks or interest. So I would really appreciate any helpful tips you have for someone in this position to land a new job. I have included self initiated projects on my resume and portfolio to show my initiative and self-learning and professional development. But my background and degree is in a completely different field, so that's why I'm having a hard time showing relevant experience on my resume other than freelance work and passion projects. Thanks so much Alice!! ❤
Thank you so much lovely! To be honest I'm not sure how much help I could be with this as luckily for me in this case my experience matched exactly what they were after so it was a pretty straight forward process. It may be worth speaking with a recruiter or someone you know who hires and see what advice they can give 😊
the kitty in the tunnel is actually adorable 🥰
I have to agree 🥹
