Hagrid's was the most amazing ride ever! However, I suffered through it because of motion sickness. It was awesome watching you on the ride. I rode it last June. Thank you so much for your hard work, and all the content you create!

We loved Cabana Bay 4 years ago when we stayed, I’m glad you got to try it out. As for Hagrids we waited 3 1/2 hours when we went on it!! So you lucked out in my book. It had technical difficulties and I had put my phone in a locker, so zero entertainment… it was rough, but the ride was amazing and I’d probably do it again.
OMG I’ve never done EPA with Easter crowds and I swear when I was there on Friday it really felt like how the parks were Pre-COVID!!! Also 15:20 the sinbad show closed before COVID but was like a sea stunt show! The Poseidons fury show is really cool and moves you around different rooms and uses different special effects! It’s been YEARS since I’ve seen it though so I’m excited that it’s opened again!

Our family was there a week and a half ago and stayed at dockside. We loved it, it was a beautiful room. Family of 5, our room had 2 queen beds and a separate room with a full bed. As well as a small kitchen/eating area.
I feel that it is totally NOT worth waking up early in the morning and then having to deal with crowds of people racing to the back of the park. Only a few rides are open anyway depending on which park is open that day. I much rather take my time, sleep in and by the time you get to the park around 9:00/10:00 we had average if not shorter wait times because we were not dealing with the crows or everyone with early access.

You could’ve walked over to sapphire falls and used the boats. That way you don’t have to go thru city walk security.

We just went in 2021 and getting into the parks there was maybe a quarter of this crowd. Goodness lol
Last time we did rope drop at islands the line was back to the city walk entry
We queued at islands back in 2019, managed to get on hagrids within 30 mins but it broke down half way round, we did get to ride it again straight after though. Very frustrating that its so hit and miss.
5:45 am Not me buddy I get up at 3:20am. Nope get there in morning after breakfast 🍳 LOL 😅
We were there in mid Jan and Hagrids was delayed every morning.
Supposedly that ride has issues when the temp drops overnight.

Any time it rains regardless of the amount, you can count on Hagrid's to be closed or delayed. This goes for even rain the night before.
When I did Hagrid in 2019, I jumped in like midday as soon as the ride came back from being down for a couple hours. It was a posted 90min wait if I remember correctly and I waited 1hr and a few minutes. That might be the better way to go since rope drop is so hit or miss!

I’m stressed watching this because I really want to ride hagrids on my upcoming holiday but seeing everyone running to it makes me feel sick to my stomach, I am staying at Royal Pacific so hopefully I will be blessed
The secret to hagrids is to ride it while or after the castle light show happens. Watch it and blast to it since everyone gets ported out through Jurassic Park

Did you end up getting your passholder preview email for guardians ? We did but by the time we got in there were like 4 dates left
how could you not do velocicoaster! lol, hagreds is always a struggle. its a fun ride but that line feels like an eternity. In january I waited 1.5 hrs at park closing still. although its totally worth it at night

Kyle the next time you would like an elevator door to close faster there should be a button with two triangles pointing towards a line in the middle hit that button and the door will close faster than hitting the floor button you need to go to

I like universal more then islands because it’s less packed in the morning
The problem with the wifi is the amount of devices connected to each access point. A reboot of all access points fixes the issue.
Ugh when I went for spring break we did the same thing and rope dropped hagrid for it to be closed. Luckily we went on velocicoaster for a 20 minute wait and then walked over to hagrids. Thankfully it had just opened and it was basically a walk on. I would say crowd wise we had a much better time at universal than we would have if we went to Disney. Heard tower of terror has only had one shaft running for the next couple of months so I would have been miserable since it’s my favorite ride😭 Oh and my friend who works on hagrids says the drops will be having their annual maintenance for the next two weeks.

I am from the UK and going to Disney and Universal in 2023. Both parks great for teenagers. We stayed last time at Port Orleans French Quarter which is a moderate hotel at Disney it is a small resort but we loved it

Okie I remember Poseidons Fury having some cool effects, but ultimately a little lack lustre. As for Sinbad, I have no memory of that show so it also must of been disappointing!
We never got on PF cause it kept breaking down, but I think Sinbad is the best show at USO!
