I've been doing a ton of research for an upcoming Universal Trip. Your videos are hands down the most helpful, and I really enjoy how you give different perspectives in all your videos! Thank you for taking the time to do this, it's been very helpful for me!
I love the format of this video: the exact location on map, videos of what it looks like inside and outside, the menu with the prices, pictures of the food, and showing the ratings on restaurants. Also, can you do one on best restaurants at disney and universal resorts?
Great video! But I’ve gotta say, the experience my wife and I had at NBC Sports Grill & Brew was excellent, and definitely deserves a try for anyone visiting Universal Orlando Resort. We enjoyed our food we had for dinner so much that we went back for lunch on our last day before heading to the airport. The best item we ordered was the Crispy Grouper Sandwich (862 IPA beer batter, bibb lettuce, tomato, caper tartar sauce, toasted brioche bun). It was one of the best fish sandwiches I’ve ever had!
This is super helpful. I'm going to Universal with my son in May and he is super picky. Limited to hotdogs and chicken strips. This video made my life 100x easier. Thanks!!
Plan to go to Universal in less than a year; your videos are so well-done, especially for an older (75+) couple. Really like the straight-forward reviews and your maps. Enjoying all videos, even if just in your minds! Thank you.
Sir Your reviews are the best ! You give a complete run down on the restaurant, the food and also show the menu. Keep up your great videos and thanks for you hard work !
I ate at Vivo once. I love italian, but for some reason the food was a bit bland during my trip. I would be more than willing to give it another chance, though. Cowfish has been consistently the best restaurant for me on City Walk.
VIVO Italian Kitchen is my go to everytime I vacation at Universal. Ate there just last week. Chicken Alfredo with peas, Ceasars salad, and Margarita. Mmmm!
I remember when Bubba Gump shrimp co was Motown restaurant! The baby back ribs to this day are still the best I’ve ever had. And it’s been 14 years since I was last there!!
Great comprehensive review. My personal favorite is Bigfire because of the atmosphere and mac and cheese. Though I like Citywalk, I wish it was on Disney Springs’ level, in terms of restaurants.
I have to go into Toothsome every time we are there. Their gift shop is amazing, and the chocolates they sell are delicious. The restaurant was okay, but not great... plus, it gave my husband food poisoning. So I don't think I'll actually eat there again.
I’ve stumbled upon your channel and love the content & material I’ve seen thus far. I appreciate your constructive criticism and fair judgment with the information given that helps a lot!
These are all great restaurants! Personally my family always goes to Margaritaville because it’s nostalgic and it’s fun to see the volcano go off if you sit inside 😎
Cowfish is definitely worth a try. We have been twice and I've had a burger and a few different rolls, all very. The Parmesan Bacon Truffle fries are fantastic. I never noticed the milkshake menu so I am adding it to my must-try list for next time.
Toothsomes was, quality wise, one of our favorites! Enormous portions and almost everything is $12-16 an entree (not sure where you got your price points..we went there twice, and, while we mostly had sandwiches, BUT THEY ARE ENORMOUS!)...one of the most affordable meals we had the ENTIRE TWO WEEKS in Orlando, the cost of a meal at Chili’s...but much higher quality...AT A THEME PARK?! Are they Nuts?!
I didn't see my favorite, Margaritaville, but seeing as though I haven't gone for more than 15 years, I am pleasantly surprised to see how many NEW great restaurants are around Citywalk! I'd love to give The Cowfish a chance!
I believe the hotdog stand is worth going to just for the cool stadium environment, but the CowFish restaurant is a must go for their food. I love sushi so I went to cowfish and they easily had the best sushi I've ever tried. If you're not a sushi person but want to try it, I recommend the Cheeseburger Sushi!! Breadbox had the nicest service we've ever received. (Btw, if anyone's a pickey eater like my brother, they have a burger king there)
Thank you for your interesting and helpful tour of the restaurants at the Universal City Walk. Your number 3 would probably be my number 1 as I love the food and atmosphere there. The Cowfish also has a shake called Chocolate "to Dive for" which is something I always get when I go there. (It is an adult shake). Thank you again for your research.
I went to Orlando in October 2019. It is the best holiday I've been on. My favourite is between Hard Rock, Bubba Gumps and Cowfish. I didn't get a chance to go to Voodoo Doughnuts, but when we go to California we will eat there. Due to good planning, we were able to skip the big lines.
Voodoo doughnuts is not the best in my opinion. I’d go get the milkshakes at the steam punk place (I forget the name sorry😅) Those are very good! Edit: Toothsomes sorry haha
Excellent review my friend. New Subscriber here. Really enjoyed all of the great information to help me prepare for a future visit to Universal Studios Orlando.
Another great video! You really can’t go wrong with Bubba Gump! It does however get very busy with it being the first restaurant by the City Walk entrance so I’d suggest getting there early.

Great vlog. I always go to Margaritaville every visit but that's because I'm a Parrothead. Food always good though and I can skip fries here which is not possible in a lot of places. Never able to get in Toothsome, it's always packed with huge queues!
Glad another video is available. Visited Hard Rock Cafe but probably wouldn’t return. Too many choices to try out instead. Would love to try cow fish. 😁
I’m new to your videos and I appreciate the thoroughness of your content. I will be visiting for the first time and now I will just need tips on how to get there from the Embassy suites near the airport which makes my life much easier!
@@TheFrugalBrit yes. Renting a car will be my choice because I don’t want to spend money on Ubers all 6 days. When we visit again I’ll probably stay at a hotel closer to the resorts or a resort specific hotel.
Tbh, I’ve tend to stumble into the Hard Rock Cafe over the other restaurants because they cook a pretty decent ribeye steak that pairs nice with a tall cold stout. Although I admit budget is on my mind if I’m going to choose a place like city walk to dine.
Not the worst list you could concoct, but Bob Marley-A Tribute to Freedom is by far the best restaurant at Citywalk. The food is great and the live music is awesome. Also, the prices aren't too bad relative to other places.
What is the song playing in the CowFish part of the video? I loved it. Also, I just discovered you via this video. I subscribed and will probably be bingeing your content. I'm shocked you don't have more subscribers because I'm so impressed with this video alone.
my dad and I ate at bubba gump shrimp at universal studios Hollywood (we usually go to Orlando city walk) I never realized it was Forrest Gump themed till after I watched the film and actually ate at the restaurant, good food definitely would eat there again.
They do Krispy Kreme burgers at the NC state fair here in the US. Two, maybe three bites is enough to experience it and not want to die. It’s honestly pretty good, if you split it three ways lol. We only got cheese and bacon. And plain doughnuts. Not like that’s much better 😂
Yeah I was torn between NBC and Antjito’s for quite a while. NBC is a really fun place to eat, but Antojito’s just edged it for me in terms of quality.
We liked red oven pizza. Pretty good quality pizza and service was quick. Breadbox was a winner for sandwiches (they are huge and can be shared) but service was painfully slow on the days we used it. Bubba Gumps was our favourite. Great theming, quick friendly service and generous portions of well prepared food. We actually ate there twice. We also stopped off at chocolate emporium as our kids were begging for milkshakes. $16 plus tax per milkshake! And they are huge, but not in a good way. No one we saw could finish them. They should consider “child size” milkshakes at a lower price point. But they won’t…
My biggest tip with City Walk (and the parks) is use the app to order and pay. It is so much quicker than ordering in person. We saved a bunch of time in Breadbox, Voodoo Doughnuts and NBC Today cafe to name a few.
By table service, I mean it’s a sit down meal, rather than fast food/quick service. The price next to this is a ballpark of how much an entree (aka main course) would cost. Thanks for watching 👍😁

This is my first video of yours so I’m not sure if you have done this yet, can you do a video on best vegetarian options and the restaurants they are located at. I’m an annual pass holder and am here often and never want to eat in city walk because of the selection. Big fire, bubba gump, hot dog hall of fame and etc. all is heavy meat and my only options I feel is salad or something else not very pleasing to eat 😹 I end up always getting pizza, salad (which I don’t like that much but in seafood/heavy meat restaurants I don’t have much of a choice lol), or end up getting a pasta dish that was meant to have meat in it so I request to have it taken out and it just is super boring. I bet these restaurants all have some options I just haven’t explored them and a video would be super helpful along with rating and reviews instead of me trying a bunch of stuff I don’t like😹 thank you!
Hi, yeah that’s not a bad idea actually, doing a ranking tailored for vegetarians and/or vegans would be good. Not sure when I’ll get chance though 🙈 Thanks for watching!
