    It would move better if you used chunky glitter in the bobble with water and glycerin!! But it's still BEAUTIFUL!!
    You did a WONDERFUL JOB!! The first time is always the hardest, isn't it? 😊 But now you can figure out what you would do differently next time!! Maybe you could use UV resin, some fishing line, and a Popsicle stick to suspend the bobble more in the center of your die (singular of dice is one die). Because having it off center will make it an unfair die because there is more weight on one side....but as a paperweight or just a piece of decor or art...it is just GORGEOUS!! 💜😍💜

    This is awesome - literally just talking with my husband about this idea yesterday and then this shows up on my feed! Now I have to try it (I have the baubles and the mold already!) cause you make it look amazing. I think I will pour some resin first and cure it for a bit, then put the bauble in, so it is a little more suspended....or try the fishing line mentioned in an comment. SO PRETTY!!!

    Have you tried wet sanding. It goes much faster and the mess is washed away. The high numbered grit (over 1000) is actually meant to be used wet.

    I tried making one with a similar mold but my orb holding the water leaked while it was curing ): do you have any suggestions for how to prevent that from happening next time? I used a ton of uv resin I thought it was secure. 😕

  • @Soleylou
    @Soleylou ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How on earth do you get your resin so bubble free to pour? I have the airless & if anything, it seems to add thousands of microscopic bubbles that you have to run it through 4 x cycles of 9 minutes at least for just the tiniest amount. Do you use it & then leave it for ages or??? Help!! ☺️xx

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Low viscosity resin is the key. I didn't use AirLess in this project, although it works great .Small batches of resin in AirLess work great .You have to work with timings it's important. Otherwise, resin start curing happened to me as well.

    • @Soleylou
      @Soleylou ปีที่แล้ว

      @@teaandart thank you. Strangely, after I messaged you I tried putting it through the airless without releasing the pressure in between & it was perfect! Hurrah! Xx

    Mix your glycerin and water before you pour it in next time.. don't mix in the ball. I'd also recommend adding a little alcohol as it stops the water going off long term. Also there are lots of dice sanding videos available.. you made this hard work for yourself. You didn't even need the top coat you needed to finish going through the grits. Alsoale sure your balls are the right size for your dice. You said you were going to do smaller ones. If the balls are off center like in this one it makes the dice unusable because they are weighted. This however is a lovely display piece

    • @teaandart
      @teaandart  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your amazing feedback. All the helpful advice is noted down. For the next one .I do make smaller simple ones, but this was new for me .I'm definitely doing right the next one .☺️💓

    • @TheNowis
      @TheNowis ปีที่แล้ว

      How do you make sure the dices are not weighted?
      I've seen many videos, this question always come to my mind
