What suprised me is that the Park staff lived in the Pueblo! Thanks for watching.

와. 멋진 유적지네요. 인디언들이 만든 역사 유적지겠네요. 멋진 곳입니다.

Yes, built by the Native population, who probably had migrated from Asia years before. Maybe relatives? Thanks for watching!

Great history of these remarkable ancient dwellings. I like their impressive stone construction and amazing views of the surrounding desert. I can imagine the lives of the people who once thrived in this rugged landscape. I am also impressed with Sunset Crater and lava on the trail.

Thanks for watching. I always think about the daily issues like social regulation and waste disposal. It was a complex society in an isolated location. Very interesting.

We visited this sight on our first road trip to see the Grand Canyon! I was so amazed that you could walk within the ruins! I went through those same two doors! I enjoyed hearing the history and about the area.
We also went to Sunset Crater. 😊

You certainly do your research, I guess that is why you are the National Parks Princess : ) They are limiting more and more the access to some of these structures, which I think is a bit of a shame, as going in them I think helps to create a connection to the humans who lived there prior.

@GC-Hiker I remember being surprised at how small the doors were.

I think this looks like a place that is worth stopping and visiting. I'll be adding this one to my list if I get back in this area. The ancient structures look so interesting and neat to see that lava rock too.

Thanks, the stone native dwellings are likely unique to the Southwest, there was a well-developed culture living here! Thanks for watching.

Buildings like this have historical value. I'm worried about deterioration due to rain and wind.

Agreed. They have stabilized all the ruins and monitor them, but time does take its toll on all things. Thanks for watching.
