This type of vessel would be great for countries like Malaysia, Indonesia or the Philippines. Not every ship needs to be a big Destroyer or Cruiser, something small allows a country to project force in many different areas for the same price.
Furthermore, that type of vessel can be built locally through TOT(transfer of technology)
Perfect patrol boats for Philippines’ 7,600 islands and more than 36,000 kilometers of coast lines, twice that of the USA.
I have seen and work with a couple of old Swiftships Crew Boats, good boats...
RAPIDFire 40mm CTA would be perfect Armament for this.

How about some ship killing features like some Harpoons missiles and torpedoes with stealth features. That is something worth investing for both national security interests and warfare development.
This seems pretty useful but I wonder about the price, considering it's armament it's obviously not meant to go against proper warships, but it would be excellent to keep those Chinese coastal patrol boats away from the contested areas of our allies, like the Philippines or Micronesia without having to deploy larger capital ships like Destroyers or cruisers.
In the US should also consider designing a very cheap and very easy to produce Corvette class worship armed to the teeth with anti-ship missiles and targeting sensors, like literally nothing else just a very basic set of engines but very good targeting sensors and a s*** ton of missiles, don't even put any anti-air capabilities on it just make it cheap and make a ton of them let's see how much China likes having every single warning light on their ships turn on the moment they get within a hundred miles of the territory belonging to our allies.

20 of these for Gulf operations to replace our retired Cyclone class ships. When not in use by the Navy, they can be part of the Coast Guard. We can't be everywhere with huge destroyers.

I am not against small boats but patrol boat needs to medium size. So it will have longer endurance at sea. These boats should be in patrol for at least two weeks not come to port every few hours or every few days.
Mohd Hassan A boat of this size is a coastal patrol boat not a high seas patrol vessel. Why would you need two weeks endurance when you are almost always within sight of land?

Yeah i have seen that, also barges. What we are thinking is a large barge/ converted cargo ship into a wildlife rescue facility/ sea base. I have seen concepts with airstrips which can be made from expeditionary concrete fabrication methods. But no expert in this stuff.
I understand this is rather late but yes it can be done. The USN already has ships like the USS Ponce which is a Expeditionary Transfer Dock.

Where are the tow or javelin missiles! Where are the 4 tub twin 7.62mini guns ? Where are the forward and after bushmaster cannons! Whoever designed this boat had their head up their ASSES! I could do better myself!
