I watched both of you play during Round 2 last week, here in Tokyo. You were great!! I thought I was the only British person (or non-Asian person actually) in my section of the audience, but I heard someone cheering for Greg and turned around to meet eyes with Ben Lane. During the final I was in the Arena Side. Part of the second floor was reserved for pro players and VIPs to watch. A kind Japanese lady was sat next to me, who lent me her binoculars, which I’m pretty sure I saw the two of you through. As any other completely regular human being would do, I watched you both sitting there perfectly stationary for like 3 straight minutes.
Anyone else got teary watching this? You guys, thank you for sharing your journey with us. You're both incredible and you are doing so much for the sport!

What a surprise to realise it was Greg and then Jenny! Lovely. You guys are getting more famous than ever, and you should! Indonesian players always said that Hendra is kinda a clean freak the first thing he checked after arriving in tournament is a coin laundry. So it's quite high chance to met him in those places (and sometimes with Fajar Alfian too). And I always curious, the major tournament like world championship doesn't offer prize money. You mentioned that you bought the flight yourself but how about hotel/accommodation? Does it come from your own pocket too or provided by organizers?

Indonesian players always said that Hendra is kinda a clean freak the first thing he checked after arriving in tournament is a coin laundry. So it's quite high chance to met him in those places (and sometimes with Fajar Alfian too).
And I always curious, the major tournament like world championship doesn't offer prize money. You mentioned that you bought the flight yourself but how about hotel/accommodation? Does it come from your own pocket too or provided by organizers?
Haha! Yes no prize money and we pay out of our own pocket for everything - flights, accommodation etc
