Good insights. You are right about Fabia owners using their car - big miles are very common. Some superminis are 'high miles' at 70k but Fabias can be at 170k and still up for more (especially the diesel models). Really good cars. I do prefer the smooth shape of the Mk.1 but that's just personal preference.
I have a petrol 109bhp 1.2 TSI SE L estate in moonlight white with 17" alloys. Its easily the best car I've ever owned. And I've had faster ones. Its super reliable, handling is really well balanced, visability is great from the driver seat and is very nippy. It definately flies for a 1.2. I can get 400miles per tank. £20 tax for the year. A massive boot. Its just great in every way while being really cheap to run too.
Fabia has been under rated for the longest time
I drive a 14year old Fabia 2. Small and snappy.

Wow, that’s quite a detailed overview! Only one thing missing….. the performance figures for the diesel engines, top speeds , 0-60 etc
Very good review Very informative 👍🏻
Thank you so much
