I saw him this year touring with Peter in Paris... when he played Red Rain... it was just mind blowing.... even Peter, Tony, David Rhodes and the others looked at him, like ; what did you just do guy ? I saw him also many times with his own jazz quartet. An incredible musician ❤️

I get what you’re saying. As great as his Genesis days were, I think in some ways he was trying to find his voice, vocally. His live performances always seemed strained in those days. In fact, I thought his best vocal performance with Genesis was the reunion show of 82. His singing since he’s gone solo, especially since the mid to late 80s to date has been his best.
