As with everything the members of EXO do, it is thought that Lay's "Lose Control" MV, and most of his solo MVs, are connected to EXO's storyline. In the drama version of EXO's "Growl"/"Wolf" video (th-cam.com/video/sFCvZUSnuus/w-d-xo.html), besides being aliens, some of the members are also wolves. As part of the storyline in the drama, Luhan and Kris (Chinese members of EXO-M) were wolves and in the end of the drama Luhan loses his wolf powers. So, when "Lose Control" came out some theories thought that Lay was the one that absorbed or took on Luhan's wolf. The story in "Lose Control" is also thought to be connected to Lay's "What U Need?" MV. In "What U Need?," at the end, Lay's eyes also glow red and it seems to transition from that MV to the story in "Lose Control." At the end of the "What U Need?" MV, when Lay returns in the car, he stumbles as he gets out of the car and kind of limps toward the camera, and his eyes are glowing red. All of their title tracks (and bsides ofc) are more than worth it and their live stages are just art. My personal favorite is Karma but to actually understand the full story line, watching it in order is better. I think you might enjoy their concept : each one of the 7 members represent a ruler from the past (for exemple their debut was about King Arthur and the member whose stage name is Arthur was kind of the main character of the MV) Anyway, enough talking about others, thank you for this LAY reaction, this man just screams perfection and I am glad that he is finally free from SM ~
