While I did have a funny idea if I ever had the GX gang do their own take on the Structure Decks, having them do a Tier List for Booster Packs would be a fun series to do. If your comment keeps getting more upvotes, I'll seriously consider it.

I'm by no means a professional at the game, but I've played the game for over two decades. I bring this up because I have siblings and mutual friends who view me as some YGO Guru to the point I've taught several of them how to play as adults. I discovered these videos last year during an effort of searching for educational videos for some of them, and you're a recurring favorite to us. These are not only insightful regarding the irl card game, but they're also love letters to the anime, and I love these for both of those reasons. Well done, Hyde.

I just had a thought. Joey didn't understand the rules and oftentimes forgot some of the cards in his deck existed or what they did. Would Pegasus even be able to figure out what was going through Joey head with how panicked he would be?
If you play the video at x1.25 speed, the voices sound more natural. Duelist Kingdom was wild to watch, they even made many cards as a joke to the era like "Attack the Moon".

in regards to duelist kingdom logic, you’re right on the money with the toons being unaffected by time wizard, just not with the right reasoning. It’d be more towards that cartoons are timeless things so they’d never age. Also I can 100% see Cyber Barrier Dragon being OP in duelist kingdom rules. Machines were immune to magic plus it can negate the one attack that can be done each turn. If there is a video for the duelist kingdom rules stuff, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more school yeard level of bs than duelist kingdom nonsense, but it’d probably still be a good video anyway

Hi again! An idea of mine is you make a video based on what deck our protagonists would play if they joined a yugioh ycs/world championship. What meta deck i mean. For instance i could see yugi would play that branded chimera with a dm and a bb engine inside, kaiba steal the idea from revolver and buy dragon links cause he has money and can do whatever he wants to, and mix them with blue eyes, joey with the flame swordsman infernobles and a spicy red eyes fusion play that sends a red eyes and fighting flame swordsman from deck for slash dragon to trigger the flame swordsman plays for next turn, etc. That would be awesome!!!!!!!!! Ngl you are the youtuber i always wanted to see when AI started. Keep up the good work!
Loved this episode and part 6. Happy to see one of my favorite structure decks too. Fire kings walked so later fire attributed could run. My buddy topped states and an ARG circuit with Hazy Flames. Lot of powerful staples at the time of the release even for this deck. Pot of Duality common reprint at a point where the game was still slow. Flamvell firedog was still a good card. Flamvell counter, PWWB, and Horn were all good trap cards. Also rekindling hard carried this deck too. This deck shaped fire attributes too. Saga was surprisingly not as hyped up as I thought it would be. Surprised you never went over contemporary staples like Fiendish chain, Dragon shrine, cards of consonance (that even has white stone on the art), monster reborn, and compulse. Blue Eyes Dragon Ruler was a fun deck especially after the first initial D-Ruler banlist. As a deck and structure h the us was definitely it that good. Wild it got a 2023 reprint through. Happy to see the GX Kaiba archetype and see a forever rogue strat since it’s inception get a structure deck. A fan favorite archetype and a very messy structure deck. The deck is still a god at OTKing as you’ve seen in your master duel streams too. A solid ok-ish deck. Lightsworn. Happy to see this deck be seen as the best deck thus far. As also someone who bought three and started doing well as locals This was cathartic. So many friends at locals started stopping regionals, ARG curcuits, and even States with Lightsworn and D-Ruler Lightsworn. Glad the ocg support made it a solid rogue deck too in the current format too. So many good memories with this deck and crazy competent out the box. Genuinely the best out the box too with no bricks or filler slot cards. At least once all of these cards have seen play. Geargia is wild. It’s a tcg exclusive structure and it shows. I don’t think it’s a spoiler that all machines decks kinda just always lack something crucial to be good. Vanilla Machina is as good as it gets with a later one being very very bad. At a time when D-Ruler was needed heavily, Arc V era was starting its RPS format, and HAT format made the game too stale and slow. I genuinely don’t know why they made a geargia deck when the deck was two years behind relevancy. At least the six samurai and dark world ones were made a the correct time. Also this was Chris LeBlanc’s first YCS win. With Geargia Karakuri in 2012. Random but just wanted to mention that since the deck is kinda lame. Loved this video and happy to see you back. Happy 1 year anniversary on TH-cam!
Joey hating OTK strategies is funny in a cosmic sort of way considering the Fighting Flame Swordsman cards can do exactly that if you boost Ultimate Flame Swordsman enough.
Im going to @ you yugi i use kaiser glider in goats and the guys always forget that it can return a monster back to hand. i have gotten some good combos out of it.
