Please tell me if I'm wrong here...In each measure you're switching your shuffle...ie "draw BLOWblow drawdraw (-3, -2) blow DRAWdraw blowblow (2,3)? It seems like the pitch is reversing. Thanks. This is inspiring me to dig into my tongue blocking module.
If someone learning harmonica were to drop into this video at say 7:45 -- they would have to be thinking "this is pretty advanced stuff" which is basically what I did. If you then went back and watched from the beginning, you would think "hey, this is easy". That is brilliant teaching. Thank you! You've earned a new follower.

I've subscribed, I've been playing for a few years off and on. Always by myself so would really like more of this backing your self rhythmically then adding licks through a blues progression. I always had a hard time with this but you've cleared alot up for me thanks. Cheers from Nova Scotia Canada

Yeah, I tongue block pretty much all the time. I shift to the deep relaxed embouchure for really fast phrases sometimes, otherwise I’m tongue blocking.

Sure. First of all, I was an accomplished guitarist before playing harp. I went to music school for electric guitar, so I knew my stuff before ever playing a harmonica. I was a guitar teacher before this, and wrote lots of songs. Then I spent a few years with my arms disabled and learned harmonica to keep playing music. Don’t really have many harmonica influences…I like certain players, but my style was my own invention. I could improvise on multiple instruments before I started harmonica, so I didn’t spend too much time copying people, if that makes sense. Been playing for 6 years.
@@HarmonicaRevolution Style comes from the heart. If we all sounded alike, we'd have no soul. I'm glad the harp has been good to you. Keep the instructional videos coming. I've been at it about 6 1/2 years and it has given me an avenue to express myself I never knew existed. Cheers.

I wish @jonah fox would reply to this, its kinda driving me crazy because the lesson portion seems to be opposite of what you are playing.
