Hey friends, I hope you enjoyed the Blues Harmonica Rhythm Lesson. Consider starting from part 1 of the series -> th-cam.com/video/gT5qjUtE2SY/w-d-xo.html Let me know if there’s anything you need more help on, I got you ✌️
Yes sir Jonah , I've also met and talked to Steven guyger Twice as well up here in Philadelphia , pa. Steven's the best ... Steven born and raised up here in Philly a legend the best !!!!
Very simple and nice to understand playing blues with harmonica. You are very nice. I respect you for sharing and teaching. You are my blues harmonica teacher
Yes, it would just be in a different key. On a D, it would be in A, on a A it would be E, on a G it would be D. The root is the fifth note of the major scale in whatever key you have.
He'll I can't even play a radio, so why am I here? Cause I'm 73 and im gonna, make it up on the stage before I die. Leave the stage with a standing ovation, the crowd goes wild.. Ok a little far fetched, lol but I'm going to play on stage one day. John's, your a good teacher and a good man for lending your talent to the ppl that want to learn the harp or what ever they choose. Your a talented individual keep doing what you do.
@@donsmith8871 Drop you're jaw and hold the "L" sound embouchure. (as in La La La but just L L L). It seems restrictive at first but it gives you richer sounding chords and exceptional control.

Thanks Tony!
Thank you so much jonah. Great videos, and you are so nice 🙏
When you do the riffs, does the position you use depend on the chord you're on?
Really good lesson but need more on blending chords with single note licks and when to tongue block. Thanks for the encouragement.
Yeah, it was too much for this video alone, I just wanted to mention it. I’m going to do a deep dive on tongue blocking real soon!
Thanks, good lesson and links really useful
Good video, man. Very well explained 🙂
Complimenti...bravo👏👏👏
Can I play power chords with tongue blocking. Like if you block the 5 on the 4,5,6 blow? Idk how to tongue block so Im not sure if it sounds good.
Great lesson, I was wondering if you figured out that Harmonica riff from Willie Dixon’s Spoonful?
Likely! I’ve learned that tune before, it’s all a blur to me haha
Can I play the blues scale on any key harp ??
Yes, it would just be in a different key. On a D, it would be in A, on a A it would be E, on a G it would be D. The root is the fifth note of the major scale in whatever key you have.
Can we get more simple rythms with chords please
Adam Gussow is who you need to
Dit you you feel my scratching, I hope your back is not red;)))😂
You will be surprised to discover that you can play harmonica with the bottom of your tongue, for better chords and easier breathing.
