H ,met you today at the races at JC Pennys parking lot, it was nice talking to you about the mods that you did on the Losi 22s to make the mid motor modification just using all the stock parts. Your car launches hard and runs nice and straight . I will try out that mod on mine. Thanks!
Actually did this mod last weekend and found a losi 22 5.0 buggy wing mount fits perfectly on the 22s rear tower and then the stock body mount screws right into the wing mount so you don’t have to drill holes in your tower I have my wing mounts on the side of the rear tower pointed towards the front of the car
Thats great but make sure you check the clearance between the motor mount plate and the wheel arm the left side arm hit on mine. Im going to update this video
Yes it works excellent. Before i had 4 oz of weight on the front bumper. Now i have none.No wheelies and I almost never finished a race and never won one. Last race i went to i went 4 and 1. Launch was super straight and consistent. Im going to do an update video soon
Thanks man did it last night can’t wait to test it💪🏽
Update run for the first time tonight. Straight as an arrow. And went from 45 mph to 50.64 mph. Very happy

Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to do this.
Update. I have a video of this car winning the 13.5 championship. Listed under 57 mph
I'm grabbing one and doing this immediately. Awesome
Great work I don't have the drag car but will this work on 22s SCT if I have upgraded aluminum chassis? Did it change the wheel base at all?
I have one as well, I think this would help keep the nose down in high speed runs.
I wonder if the same thing could be accomplished without all the drilling if you used the mid motor transmission case from the Losi 22sct 3.0. 🤔
Yes probably, I was trying to use all stock parts
Nice job
To make the car go straight what is your rear toe set at ?
No toe end
Worked for me 😃 Thanks for the video.

@@cslate36 Good call, a little Dremel magic fixed it up.
So how does it perform? Less wheelies? Less weight needed up front?

So what about sway bars since u use the swar bar hole for shocks
Tap A-Arms on shock side to custom mount sway bar. Learned this from inverting shocks on the rear of my slash 4x4’s.
Nice
Okay, I see the 1969 drag camaro is rear motor .
How did put the wheelie bar back on
Did you ever come up with a way to mount a wheelie bar if you wanted to run a faster class?
I ended up 3d printing a wheelie bar mount and attached it underneath.
How did u mount the wheelie bar?
No wheelie bar 13.5 class
I thought the 22 was a mid motor ?
Did you have to reverse your motor direction after doing this?
Yes i did in the esc
Is there a video showing the beginning......
