I like the insert and sleeves, but otherwise, very disappointing.
I thought they had mentioned they were going to be doing a 3D tile version, so hopefully that will be more impressive and worth getting.

This was only $65 when it came out? I want to get this version, but the only reason I want this one is because the box is big enough to fit the gamegenic trading post. BUT it's not in stock anywhere, and the current going rate is like $110. :(

The french version of the 25th editon from Kosmos come with Seafarers and the scenarios expansion for that. The Kosmos french version also come with plastic pieces for the roads and settlement. Those two edition are quite different for what i can see !

Still is the 10th years edition the best from the special editions. That one was also for 5 and 6 players.

This is my first Catan game and for that I like it a lot

Pro: a better value bundle (still expensive IMO), come with sleeves (plus), better insert (bigger plus.)
But I would expected an even better insert where they utilized those hex box to store the pieces, or the pieces are painted with detail instead, or special 25th anniversary artwork, or included the fancy bingo like dice rolling thing.
I guess I can skip this and stick with my Catan with 3D printed components ATM.

You're just about the only person that's said there's only 160 sleeves, most websites and EVEN THE BOX ITSELF says there's 180 sleeves

Disappointing anniversary edition compared to the Ticket to Ride 10th.

I agree, but even the 15th anniversary was a disappointment to the 10th!

Nothing can really compare to TtR 10th Anniversary edition, that was one of the best game recreations ever.
The thing is, it was SO limited (I heard there were like only 10,000 copies available? Not sure) and SO pricey, so if they want something to really sell, they have to sacrifice some premium elements.
Still I can see the direction they are going with this Catan box but ehh yeah it just looked like yet a nother reprint. At least make the theme more pleasing like Pandemic or Stone Age!

i’m with Dan on this one, this game gets too long over 4 players. Some nice goodies, but meh over all

Are people complaining to the company yet for this generic version? Why not add windows or designs to the exterior of the wooden buildings. Why not wooden trays to hold cards? Why not make the resource tiles better looking.. Very disappointing for a 25th anniversary.

This is garbage. I'm sorry but a 10th and especially a 25th anniversary of one of the most popular games of all time should have more.

Looks dissapointing. Also this is one of the worst kingmaker games ever. Bad memories!
