Maybe consider open sourcing the project, and having a roadmap with goals. Which allows the developers and hobbyists of the cubing community to contribute code, and perhaps reach some of your goals sooner. 🙂

As far as I can see it's built using Squarespace so I'm not sure how much of it could be open sourced and rebuilding it from scratch by the community would require a couple of skilled engineers that won't get bored after a while lol.

I’d also contribute. I’ve got some stuff on GitHub that i hacked together to help my own learning after you dropped the beginner series. For example alg animations using cubing.js that styled with bootstrap to fit mobile, and some assets that be happy to contribute.
I think that adding a chat section for others to share their experience and personal tips would be cool

I love it! The website is the most useful in the world! So easy to navigate and I love that you added what the notations mean. I love your vision for a website that includes everything and I think this is a great start to build up upon. You and Pablo did an awesome job with the cube academy. It‘s so easy to navigate and you quickly find what you are looking for. An alg trainer would be neat and would help with learning.
You once made a plan to learn OLL in 30 days that was absolutely amazing and helped me get there! Something like this for CLL on 2x2 or even certain ZBLL cases on 3x3 could be really useful. That paired with like a forum for questions and motivation would be awesome and help a LOT of new cubers.

I’m really happy for you. When you’ve finished all of this can you add a 4x4 section with all of the same stuff, and then transition to different puzzles. This is a long term thing so I don’t expect you to do it soon but I think that would make it the ultimate tunic cube hub of learning. Thx and good to see you doing something you love

Great Work! People should pay tribute to you for this page. I just can imagine that there is quite space for a lot of content. This already is quite nice and when it is just developing then I am eager to know what is coming in the future. These little thoughts someone has make it great. For example the starting at the exact point in a video when you click on a OLL or PLL case. Basically a simple idea but with a great effect.

I like this idea. I’ll check it out for sure. I’ll tell you an experience I recently had. I started making TH-cam shorts teaching a different alg per short. I spoke with a relatively popular content creator. He told me ilI was doing it wrong and that I need to make skits instead. I didn’t listen to his advice because I just wanted to teach people what I know instead of trying to be an entertainer. So I’m all for seeing someone trying to make something for educational purposes. And also thank you for doing this for the community.
I'm a beginner and I already love the website, it is so clean and useful. For me this isn't a fail, it's just another way to present your vision and product and this will help the community a lot. Thank you CH! The idea of a forum/chat could keep the web so alive too

Thanks to you I’ve gone from beginner’s method (relearned from 1980-ish) to CFOP to Roux (love it, staying there for now). Being an Apple user for over 30 years my respect for you just zoomed up even more. This isn’t a wasted effort or failure, it’s a temporary setback and a very wise move (too many fall prey to sunk cost and/or gambler’s fallacies: myself being one prize prawn of an example).

The time you spend with making the cubing community happy is just insane, I just wanted to let you know that we do really appreciate that. Also and idea for the website: make a page where people can rate the different kinds of speedcubes and write reccomendations about them. It would be really cool and actually useful.

The current site is really good, but for example, the algorithm db would be so handy.

I just want to say this is amazing the steps are super clear and easy to learn and the gifs are great so they can see what to do instead of looking at one picture and applying it to a bunch of random moves that don’t make sense. I want to teach when I grow up and teaching cubing is something I do already and one thing I have learned is that clockwise is difficult especially on the R because they need to turn the cube check the direction then go back and do that move what I like to do is first teach them by saying like top to the right or left then right (R) up or down it just makes it a bit simpler to teach but this is amazing and great work everything else is amazing hope you see this!

I'm so pleased that you've managed to make the huge, brave call and release the project where it is. It's maybe not your 100% perfect vision yet but that doesn't matter. What does matter is that it's real, it's released and you can breathe again and work on it at a reasonable pace, all the while getting invaluable feedback from users.
I'd love to watch your vid on my stream with my audience to talk about some of these huge mental health themes, for the simple fact that they're hard to talk about but they're such important conversations to have. If you see this, let me know!

Hi I just wanted to say I appreciate your content. I’ve gotten from 40 seconds to my best solve being sub 15 on beginner cfop. It’s so cool how much people can teach others. Something I would like being added is how to solve 2x2 and 3x3 blindfolded.
In the advanced section, you can dynamically change the icon to a white color for better contrast.

I was thinking of what you can add to your website and I remembered that Felix's PLL recognition game where you beat his score a few years ago. In my opinion, having a leaderboard there also would be very cool feature. So good luck on expanding your project and all the best in the cubing career!
Consider making it a crowd fund project and hire a dedicated developer and make it open source too! I love your original idea and if hiring (available) talent was the problem, maybe let the community contribute!

Last week i started making a cube timer website, kind of like monkeytype , like have clean ui and stuff like that, but turns out it is a lot of work, since i am also looking for a job. I don't want to spend 6 months working on a project that only 6 people will use. So i decided to not to go any further with it. Maybe i will rethink it for a learning experience. Might look good on the resume right.

Good on 'ya CubeHead! Nice website! You're a good teacher. I also appreciate your videos that discuss cognitive theory relating to cubing. The way you explain it is easy to understand. How about including some of that content on your website? (Edit: Oops, never mind. It looks like that content will be coming on your "Other Videos" page. Cool.) I like your attitude on cubing and apparently life in general.
A lot of cubing sites lack minimalism. But this one does. I am really loving the clean look of the user interface
I think open-sourcing the project could be hugely beneficial for this project. For example, a lot of the features (the timer for a start) you didn't implement in the actual website could be developed by contributors of the project so that you can work together and reach your goals potentially faster, cheaper, and even better than hiring individual devs. btw i am sub 10 and is a beginner coder
The design of your timer looked absolutly stunning. It would be really cool to have a timer with all the functionallity of cstimer but with a way nicer look

I really like the design and animations of the website it's really cool. I hope that the advanced videos will get me faster. I'll be waiting for them
I would add maybe an area to select what you are currently doing on your solves, so let’s say I select 4LLL, and beginner F2L. Now with that information, it should give you relevant tutorials to look at. So with that information I gave, maybe a tutorial on intermediate F2L, beginning full PLL, and perhaps some cross tips.

I feel like a section where people can time and practice certain algs over and over again would be nice, because it was a little confusing for me when I tried to do it. Like a scrambler that gives u the OLL or whatever and then u can time how fast you are. I know websites like this already exist, but incorporating it in the app would be cool and maybe some visual representations as to what each scramble looks like because I could never memorize the different perms 🤷♂️

the website looks great! I'd love if it could also have the super obscure/advanced sets in one place as its often hard to find!! like eg-2, leg-1 & LS for 2x2, 1LLL for 3x3 and other crazy algsets. I wonder how much effort it would be to take them from all the different sources 🤔 but of course things always take alot longer than you think to add 😂

This is what cubing needs you will change cubing forever!
add a section where we can add our own algs just in case someone has truble with the alg or can't reliably use the algs. Kind of like a backup .also add a live help section where any cuber who Is on the website at the moment can help anyone out with any issue they are facing
Maybe you could add a section for other puzzle or event. For example, if you have any tips for OH, 4x4 or another , it could be a really cool addition
